I agree with that. He plays HARD, seems like at the limit, never safe. Pretty sure he’s done records with Oats long time ago, and he’s one of my favorites for sure.

Fate took from us an amazing trumpeter and the author of this and many other great bop tunes. We should have gotten at least another forty years of top level playing and composing from the great Clifford Brown.
