    I'm almost finished with my skoolie conversion. It's a 40ft Blue Bird and its taken me almost 2 years! My challenge for August is not to eat anything with a mother or a face (plants only) and I decided to jump on the plant-based train because of the health benefits.

    Thanxs for your informative and motivating vid. I have a problem, can you help? I don't know which type tube and fittings I should use for the gravitu fill port. Please help. The tank will have spin weld fittings installed by the factory. So I need to know what hose and fittings to get.

    • @TaleOfTwoSmittys
      @TaleOfTwoSmittys  3 года назад

      Well it really depends on the fittings themselves. As far as I'm aware, spin welding is the process to install the fittings by the manufacturer, but there are still different types/sizes of fittings. Do you have any other details? Happy to try and help. Or even photos of the fittings?

      Thank you! That’s awesome. Our trip to Montana a few years back did it for us. Kept thinking about being out in beautiful areas. And now here we are!

    Maybe a stupid question but what do you do about the tiny pieces of plastic shavings that end up inside the tank when drilling holes? Do you just flush the system a bunch of times?

    • @TaleOfTwoSmittys
      @TaleOfTwoSmittys  3 года назад

      Not a stupid question and something I overlooked initially. You should definitely cut those holes before install so it’s easier to flush out. Took some extra work to rinse that out. We have a strainer on the front side of the pump as a fail safe, too.

    Love the intro and the new video format! Congratulations on meeting your challenge objectives. Question: Are you installing an RV style washer/dryer machine combo?

      Thanks Sensforce! Yes, it will be a combo unit. Stay tuned for more details!!

    I'm thinking of buying a short bus but it's the kind that was used for handicapped and elderly transport. Because it's much lower to the ground than a regular bus, do you think it's possible to install grey/black tanks underneath the bus. I haven't gone to look at the bus yet and when I do I still won't be able to see underneath due to my age and health issues. I would have to hire all work done but don't want to invest if plumbing isn't possible. Thanks

    What kind of door is that and where did u get it? Any specific measurements?

    • @TaleOfTwoSmittys
      @TaleOfTwoSmittys  4 года назад

      We show a bit more of the box in tomorrow’s video, but we made it out of diamond plate sheet metal and bolted some brackets on the back to stiffen it. We matched the size to the hole we cut out of the bus (and let it hang lower).
