hey, mine too! he'll just never know, what them songs did, to people i never even spoke to, haha, it wasn't always lookin' too good, hopefully it propelled them toward their destiny, haha, but as for me, yeah, now , it's like, 'consequences will never be the same', thanks to young bob! reminding us that we're gettin' old, but that some don't even let that slow them down, how does he do that!
Hey Bob! I just listened to your song for the first time! I love it! I was misdiagnosed for almost 9 years. They said I had schizophrenia, then scizo effective disorder, but really its Anxiety. I have had psychotic breakdowns many times also due to insomnia. When I don't sleep, I do hear and see things that aren't there after awhile. The longest I've stayed awake was 2 days. I hope you don't have insomnia or Anxiety. It's not fun, but God doesn't give us more than we can handle. God bless you, Bob. :) ♥
@luke barnett I think he was on the same ticket with the Pixies on the Workbook tour. And in his autobiography, he said that he unconsciously ripped off "Debaser" when he wrote "A Good Idea" with Sugar.
Saw him with the band at Nottingham Co-op a hundred years ago ... been going to his shows ever since. Catch him live. He's so happy up on stage.... makes me feel young, or rather, makes me feel that it's okay to be old....love ya Bob. Wish you all the best.
I'm going through the 100 greatest rock stars (according to Spin magazine) and I'm glad I am because I'd never come across his music before and I really liked this song/video.
Funny video, especially that Pixies reference "Bassist needed, into Husker Du and Peter Paul and Mary", then Jason rips it off. Hilarious!. I love Bob, he's the best.
I like how Bob still thinks good music is passed from ear to ear. The man is in his 50's and writes like he's in his 30's, love it. Also, some musicians could seriously take some guitar cues from this guy - Solos are not a sport's contest, its about art and emotions. Always should be about the art primarily. Just because you can doesnt necessary means you should, all the time.

I like the song a lot and its release is perfect timing and sort of describes my recent relationship ending and thoughts/feelings of my ex-girlfriend at the end -- kind of didn't know her anymore. I'm dont think the video goes well with the song but found the intro and video itself amusing. Bob (and band) is still rockin!
Feel the same way about the song for me personally but I believe the video is showing how he doesn't know the music industry anymore and how much the music world has changed in both good and bad ways (but mainly negatively) and how he is willing to go these lengths to keep it raw and real like it used to be. That's just one way I look at it and i'm probably wrong but anyways this is an amazing song from Bob and a perfect example (see what i did there haha) of his song writing being so great and that it talks emotions for so many people in many different situations. This song and album is great!!!!!!!
This man is worth way more than he gets....but the same could be said for the Reigning Sound and Greg Cartwright. Perhaps Merge just knows more than mainstream radio???
Met him in Indy two years ago. As you know..his own manager...set up tour dates..small club...all standing ..packed...just him and guitar...my kind of Dinosaur.
Bob Mould’s music has fed and sustained me through some very hard times. I am deeply grateful for him and his art.
Me too. If it not for him I would not be here.💙✌️🏴☠️
Most of my world ceased to make sense years ago, but Bob & his music still do.
word.
Bob totally rules.
Check out the Beaches. And Voxtrot. They give me Husker DU vibes.
Bob Mould makes my life better ;)

Stop wasting money on greedy, clueless assholes. Just do stuff, there will be alot of time for thoughts later.
I can't believe how great this entire album is. Great work.
Love the way that Bob has reconciled himself with the Husker's past. A great song with a great video, especially the Pixies bit.
2:58 Greatest musical reference. Like this comment if you get it.

Handing out The Wipers Is This Real?
Frank and Joey posted the "Bassist wanted" sign when forming the Pixies.
I'm so glad that somebody in the world still makes decent music.

Love it! Great sense of humor on this.
Great acting from both Bob and Colin.
Insanely catchy song!
Thank you Merge!
2:59 That's the same ad that Kim Deal responded to when joining the Pixies.
+Henry Drake I thought it was Buzzcocks and Peter Paul and Mary. Eh, maybe not...
Brilliant video. Too funny! Celebrity cameo indeed :)
Music Millenium -- Portland, Oregon, USA. Great place! Love the song, too.

we ❤ bob.
thousand pieces of my heart
Swept across a weathered floor
And no idea how to start
Solving puzzles from before
Maybe in time this confusion will fade
But every single error we made
Is right there on display
I don't know you anymore
Name and face have been obscured
Change them if you want but
I don't know you anymore
I play back everything we did
But all the words are out of phase
And so the tape rewinds inside my head
Shedding but it can't be saved
Pushing record when I wanted to play
The message is clear how you pushed me away
It's more than I can take
I don't know you anymore
Name and face have been obscured
Change them if you want but
I don't know you anymore
I had a vision of one last try
What does it mean to me?
All I saw was a tear-stained face
Staring back so silently
I heard a voice travel over the line
Telling me tales filled with riddles and rhymes
That I don't recognize
I don't know you anymore
Name and face have been obscured
Change them if you want but
I don't know you anymore

I'm so in love with this video!
This is the *perfect* pop song (and yes I love PPM, HD and The Pixies!)
So great.
Now that was funny! Great pastiche on our social media entrenched age!
I'm going to see Bob 9/27/14 at the Roxy. Looking forward to seeing him rock again.
Met him in Indy two years ago. As you know..his own manager...set up tour dates..small club...all standing ..packed...just him and guitar...my kind of Dinosaur.
