For anyone who doesn't know the ending is a reference to a japanese period drama called Mito Komon about Tokugawa Mitsukuni(the shogun) going undercover as a merchant along with two retainers and solving problems all over Japan and episodes end with them presenting the inro(the "medicine case") with the imperial seal after defeating the bad guys.
The fact that he's just standing there menacingly shooting stuff means he's not fighting seriously at all. But ofc only Enkidu can make him fight seriously.
He doesn't even feel like he's fighting jokingly like against Saber or Shirou. Like even he's bored with this world and doesn't even want to bother with this fight, only doing so as a sense of royal obligation. If this were a boss fight I'd change, I'd actually make it like Balteus from Armored Core 6, a pain in the ass fight that you need to really know what you're doing or find a way to cheese him. Because Gilgamesh doesn't even feel like he's trying here. Maybe that's from me watching someone else play it, I don't know... but how few gates he uses and how far apart they spread out just feels like he's not even trying to take this as casual entertainment...

Sad part about this is that this whole game is part of a pruned timeline. So everyone dies at the end. And yes Kinoko Nasu he who genderbent King Arthur and made a media empire of her and her clones thinks THIS game is far too historically inaccurate to be canon.

Yoshinaka was kind of a guerilla fighter. Also here in game he has a type of odachi sword and his horse has a golden saddle. That is more of an aspect in a literary story than a historical source. Sakurai did her research on him for this.
@freknivek1565 no, first he didn't use his famous chains here, second, about 20 weapons in one attack is not big deal, but 20000(or even more) is much more, third is what Gilgamesh actually know how to use every np in his treasury properly.

When you beat Gil and he gives you the tea bowl, is there something you're supposed to do with it besides sell it? It seems like there's a hint or something when you're given it because saber says to Iori "This can come in handy later" as if it's better to not sell it. Gil also says "at the end of the ritual, I'll see if I join you or not" as if hinting you can get him as a servant. Anyone got and ideas?
@@ezeohan Yea. Achilles invincibility has an allergy to anyone with a high enough Divinity or Divine Constructs which most of what is farted out of Gate of Babylon count as. Its also why many of the Round could actually harm him.

I find Fire stance effective against him. I had to play carefully tho since I need to be at low health to get its max potential. Void and Water, not so much. Wind? Who tf uses Wind stance? If it has better skills and not that janky ass looking move set, maybe I would've used it. It's only good against mobs to get full potential but it gets overshadowed greatly by Void stance in general, Fire stance when low on health, and Water if you don't have Void yet. Earth is a lifesaver because of its one time revive.
Ea, well i guess it's an in-character not to use it but no Gungnir, Gram, Vajra, or other Prototype? Oh well Rogue servant may not had enough mana reserve. At least he use Merodach
No no, youre mistaken, Gil had no intention of trying. He had EX rank independent action meaning he can use all the noble phantasms he wants without having to worry about mana reserves. He simply tested them.
Damn, I haven't unlocked rouge Saber and I've unlocked all the other rouges. I'm trying to get as much of the game completed on my first try and I'm already on the last chapter. I feel as though there's no going back to get him now that I've done so much to get to my point 😭😭😭😭
