What you guys were smelling were bitters. It's Angostura bitters which originated in trinidad. It's not a steak sauce. It's is a herbal alcoholic preparation. Angostura bitters is used in many classic cocktails, such as the Old Fashioned, the Manhattan, and the Martini. It can also be added to food, such as soups, sauces, and desserts, to enhance the flavour and aroma. But you generally put a dash and not much. Great review.

@@888katiechau In PC it is customary that you tip. Not everyone does it but most people do! They work very hard to please you for very little money. $1-$2 for the people serving is fine.
