I have got this Pack and I liked the balance in the toms. I wish if there were more sounds assigned to the tom's rims as you did in the Black Pearl kit. Generally good sounds and well balanced.
I always find Roland cymbal sounds way better than what Yamaha has.
Das Soundpaket ist der Hammer! Ich spiele es in einer Top40-Coverband und in einer Galaband. Selten so viel Durchsetzungsfähigkeit bei einem E-Drum gehabt. Zumal Ralf mich wieder Mal überzeugt hat dieses Paket zu kaufen.

Would love to know more about the trigger setup for the 16" Floor Tom. All I have read up to this point indicated that anything larger than a 14" Floor Tom had problems with trigger accuracy...
That's what I thought until now actually :) it seems that the guys got it solved nicely, triggering is just as accurate as on the 14". Please feel free to get in touch through service@drum-tec.de for further info on those floor toms. Kind regards!

Thanks for sharing. Still a lot of things about the new Roland stuff that I don't think sounds as good as it should for the price, but this is definitely one of the better showings of what can be done to make the TD-50x sound good. I still prefer the Pearl Mimic Pro overall, but if you are going to show off a drum module, this is how you do it. Use Ralf. :) Much better than the Roland produced marketing videos in my opinion.

@@williamperri3437 Yes, yes it is. IMHO, anyway. There are many who like the Roland stuff and I used to be one back in the TD-20x days when there was nothing to compete with it, but now for my purposes and enjoyment, the Mimic is better than the TD-50x.
@@williamperri3437 I have a mix of pads - mostly Roland except for ATV Hats and my snare is an acoustic conversion along with the Pearl Mimic Pro. I am looking to do a conversion of the rest of a kit but won't go there until I reach 1,000 subscribers on my channel (personal goal thing). This pad and module combo is great for my practice and home recording setup. I use the outs on the module itself + the Snake cable going to 8 additional inputs to my Studio One DAW through a PreSonus Studio 1824 interface + Behringer ADA8200 for the additional channels. Should probably move this discussion out of Drum-Tec's video! :)
BTW: I have strongly considered just getting the already converted pads from Drum-Tec rather than doing my own conversion. They are so pretty and obviously trigger well.

how its possible to make rim sounds for toms?
all these packs come with the cymbals correct?
The cymbals sound better than I remember....but, I'm disappointed that Roland still, after 20yrs of making these products, don't have decent sounding drum samples. The technology is available, and cheaper than ever. This is more of a drum-tec demo of that beautiful kit, than it is anything new that Roland is doing. This drum-tec kit with the Pearl Mimic pro for quality sounds that compliment a kit of this quality, is the way to go if you're going to spend that kind of money. Just sayin....

Noch eine Frage: Wird auch die Live-Sound Edition für das 50X erhältlich sein? Ich habe ein auf 50X upgegradetes TD-50. Wäre echt schlimm (nicht für EUCH), wenn ich noch ein neues TD-50X kaufen müsste nur für die Live-Sound Edtion! :-)

The TD-50X has the latest Roland onboard sounds/samples & currently none of the other models has the exact same sounds. You might check out the TD-27 & TD-17 drum-tec sound editions though to check what you like:

I now have this edition. Very nice. Very fun. But, there isnt one kit I havent tweeked to my liking. Mostly with the crashes.
My favorites- 1st premier, mr. Ludwig and de snare.
Tomorrow it will be something else. Lol

I checked that I put it in the SD card (wav is played on PC), but it is not loaded back from the SD card to the TD50X in the module. not import
I want to put the recorded sound in memory and play it again because it is deleted when the power is turned off. Is it possible?
