I don’t see myself creating all sorts of ongoing projects necessarily. How would I get started? Some of your tools and techniques look rather involved. Any advice for the newbie? Thanks!
Hey Matt, you can create your castle with towers by texturing XPS foam with aluminium foil and using a pen to draw in your stonework. Pressing deep into the foam and you'll get a nice texture and will take a dry brush real nice. If you're not going to be crafting all the time, I wouldn't buy or make a roller. Take your time on the stonework and just do it by hand. A Winons Hot Knife Foam Cutter might be a good route for you for some of the more intricate cuts instead of a proxxon. It'll let you make the more advanced cuts without the use of a proxxon, with a little less "quality". All that and just some craft paints, a few brushes, and a hot glue gun and you're good to go!

Thanks drifter427! Keep them coming haha.
Love how the builds use prior techniques.. and so can increase in detail and complexity while making a single peice usable in multiple scenarios.. or even as seperate structures.
@@drifter427 Oh boy... keep on watching my videos... I have something very special planned you just picked up on.

There is no "g" in "Mod"!
Yes, I know. My bad.
you're protecting foam with mod podge, but you're not protecting your lungs and brain from toxic chemicals like foam and superglue.
Watch a more recent video...
😂 guessing you never heard of medics using super glue to seal up wounds with and cuts when there's no time for stitches or Staples or there's none around. Because it's so toxic rite?
Love your builds! But you gotta stop saying "go ahead" ...
