Dude are you kidding me! Your channel blows my mind, this potion shop is epic . I fully support everything you do on this channel and I’ll put my money where my mouth is and buy a shirt this month. 👍🏼👍🏼
The final outcome of this build was just, simply, amazing! The attention to all the tiny details really blew me away! Thank you for sharing your considerable skills and keep up the awesome work! :)
wow what you have shown, all types of technique, both the stones, airbruch, the wood structure and the colors you have used, then you see that everything comes into its own, beautiful piece or an art well done john.
If it's a coastal village, a lighthouse with a little rotating LED light would be pretty dope. Source one of those tiny brushless motors they use in those super tiny RC cars to spin the light around.
Love that you are adding onto the village! I really dig that hole in the roof with the patchwork. A lot of story and character with this piece on the tabletop. Gotta think of a good suggestion for your village now. 🤔
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Your log is great, but this shop! Your current logo could be hanging out the shop? No? Maybe you thought of that. Can't wait to see this in a 30+ house village one day ;)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT You are so welcome, John! Keep on building! I absolutely love your videos! So super excited to see what that build is going to be!!
This would be pretty cool sitting on a desk in a study or at work as a great conversation starter. I guess an inn or a tavern would be a good addition to your village or maybe even some stables or a barn could be added
What an awesome build. Your art keeps getting better and better. You know what your town needs, John? A Market... Adventurers have to shop for food, and trade is a great way for town's economy. Greetings all the way from Lima, Perú!
I just rewind those 2 secs on begining with smoke and light on - just love it! One of my amateur stories has potion place like this and I know I want add more details with violet smoke from chimney... Thanks!
I used this technique on my gingerbread house on New Years eve. I didn't use "Milliput", but I used (EVA Foam Clay) a lot easier to use covering items, instead of the Milliput. Wet your fingers and tools with water to smooth the foam clay . it can be sanded and painted after it air dries...
I watched your video on Disney's Haunted Mansion and loved it. And now watching this video your talent is amazing! You make your builds look so easy and I'm pretty sure they're not. Crafting late into the night, I think we're all guilty of that because we don't want to lose our creative mojo. I look forward to watching more of your builds.
Hi Lady Jewell... great ideas... one I've already done. The windmill was my first video on RUclips :) Here's a link: ruclips.net/video/WKQ85SkCMic/видео.html The water mill is a great idea!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT , thx for the link. Added to my build list. Since you’ve already done one, how about a tougher nut to crack: a ferry and dock or a fantasy water lock. 😇
Diamond plate!?!?!? How dare you break my immersion, sir. (robble, robble). In all seriousness, really digging those molds, the shingles look great. For non playable interiors I like using soda, or especially "corrugated" sports drink bottles can make for solid frames for domes / cylinders, and for the older set among us Metamucil cannisters work well too. They are fair at taking your sculpting materials and adhesives, ala Miniature Hobbyist's Wizard Tower as a good example (he's the Brit that makes things out of melted sprues). Great Job as always brother. Up the Irons!!! 🤘🏻
haha, should I have sanded down the diamond plate for you :) Great idea on making use of some common household items. I had a feeling my daughters project would come in handy at some point... I still have a few planets left. Until next time !
A beautifull build. Again. I really love the layered paint job on the stones/bricks! It's a very strong and direct effect, visible right when you paint it. I really need to implement that technique.
This is looking amazing. Especially with the colored smoke coming out of the chimney and roof. My idea for an additon to the village: a "pet-shop" for exotic and special animals and familiars. Like flying snakes, dragon eggs/ wymrlings, direwolf pups. Could also be a breeder. You could make a giant octopus/ kraken tentacle breaking out of the building like it is escaping.
Awesome looking build as per usual, loving the smokemachine implementations more and more...! Keep it up John you are an awesome creator! For another building in you village, imho every village needs a General Merchants Store selling all kinds of supplies, or perhaps a woodworkingshop selling stuff from tables and chairs to coffins.
How about adding a temple, someplace the townsfolk can go and pray, and adventurers go for healing. Also gives you a chance to make a building with a more fancy exterior. If you're feeling especially eager, add some interchangeable parts that will allow you to rededicate the temple; such as god of the harvest and god of trade.
Amazing build! I love all the different affects and styles of wood, pipes, stones, metal and such that went into this build. The sign is awesome! The incorporation of the molds was great idea. I can’t wait to attempt this build. Definitely need more practice before I attempt this.
