After my first ride I was so shocked by the ride’s intensity and pacing that I was literally speechless and in shock for like 30 seconds no joke. I needed to sit down for 5 minutes after getting out to process all of what just happened. Never before had I experienced a coaster that slaps so many positive Gforces in your face. Now I personally really enjoyed this ride even though I blacked out once and greyed out multiple times. It’s currently my #3 at the Park and also my #6 coaster overall, it's also my favorite B&M although it swaps places frequently with Raptor at Gardaland. Now, one complaint I have with this ride is one subtle detail. When you are at the top, the lift goes through a building. Now while the building is decorated on the upper parts of the inside, the ground below is just regular concrete and it just looks so ugly, literally unride-able now simply because of this fact. I definetly need to re-ride this and all other coasters at Phantasialand.
Amazing video and review! Phantasialand and Black Mamba are definitely on my bucket list. Just one question; from were did you get the music for the intro segment of the video?
On the Black Mamba and Colorado Adventure, I was able to really experience what the chassis and tires can do. About every 4 years Phantasialand seems to overhoal all trains completely. I once had the pleasure to drive Black Mamba or Colorado Adventure shortly after. Just completely smove without any rattling. On Colorado it has just completely surprised me. I would not have thought that this old ride can still be driven so smove. I can say after the experience in any case, it is definitely not the tracks when the rattles. The culprit is, at least in most cases, the tires and the chassis. You've experienced this yourself, why else should the track ride better at the front than at the back? It can't be due to the track.
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi even an Taron I had unenyoyable rides, because of rattle. But the next ride on the same day everything was fine, maybe because it was a different train.
Being used to Nemesis I was a tad let down by the forces on this one, but the theming more than makes up for it! Its easily one of the best overall coaster experiences ive done.
@NorthernRidesYaBoi it's pretty darn intense yeah, I do actually prefer inferno but the original beats it out in intensity any day. What are your thoughts on the new black and red vein track?
(the inverts I’ve done) 4. Black Mamba (very uncomfortable and forgettable) 3. Nemesis Inferno (used to hate it now I love it) 2. Monster (not super intense but great fun) 1. Nemesis (the best night rides, unbelievably intense) I’m riding a fifth invert (Oziris) next week so I’m excited to see where that ranks. Great vid btw.
The only real downside to this coaster is that they didn’t take tall people into account and therefore it’s restricted to people over 195cm, hence why I couldn’t ride it the first time ! I’m going back this weekend with someone, hoping I can sneak my way on while being extremely mindful of my feet (cause I’m literally 1.95 🤣) Great review as always man ! 😊
A lot of places have the 195cm restriction, I've noticed. Always a bummer, but of course a safety thing. But with you being exactly that height, I really hope they'll let you on! And thank you! Have fun this weekend :D
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi defenetly, theming on a coaster can elevate a coaster so much. Example: karnan and helix, helix coaster wise is better but because of karnans theming i like it more
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Parc Asterix is my home park ! I hope you'll be able to visit it soon if you haven't already. They did a great job improving their services this season.
i didnt quite like black mamba, on my first ride i rode it in the near back, and i was dissapointed, on my second ride i rode it on the second row, which was better, but still eh great review!
So I guess this ride wouldn't have existed 80 years ago I'm glad Germany is more open to different cultures now, that mustached fella would've gotten them an F for diversity
Babe wake up, new Northern Rides Review
Ich gseh di überall sogar theme park crazy
Such an hell of an invert, you absolutely have to try riding it at night during wintertarum, it’s a crazy experience
I would love to try that!

Never noticed the concrete thing. Sounds miserable!
I love your reviews the most because of your humour
@@pablorubio8287 Thanks so much!
Rollercoaster: Goodlooking (havent ridden yet)
Theming: Looks like my new number 1
Review: Badass good
Thank you sir 🙌
Ride is definitely worthy of a top spot
Love the edit 😁

Thank you very much!
The intro music is from Super Mario Galaxy

Nemesis definitely looks to be peak intensity for inverts. Excited to see it run again!

Love seeing Monster so high!
Have fun on OzIris! I've heard very good things about that one.
And thanks!
FINALLY Nik has posted a REVIEW VIDEO!!!!!!!!!
I also posted one 5 days ago 🤣

@@NorthernRidesYaBoi Thanks man ! Thorpe Park & Alton Towers didn’t mind earlier this year, I’ve got my toes crossed !
My personal favorite b&m invert, but to be fair the only other one i have tried is monster which dosent really stand a chance lol
To be honest, I prefered Monster until my re-ride on Black Mamba this year. I love that Swedish invert 😍
I cant wait to ride it, cant wait to go to phantasialand i. General
I'm certain you'll love it!

Noice!
Inverted Coaster Tier List:
Top 5% - OzIris
Top 10% - Montu, Katun, Nemesis
Top 15% - Nemesis Inferno, Black Mamba, Monster
It's a strong top 15% overall!
Can't wait to ride OzIris someday
@@NorthernRidesYaBoi I think B&M inverts might have to be favourite coaster type just because of how consistently good they are
I rode both this one and Oziris at Parc Asterix, and I think Oziris is more intense than this one.

It's perhaps all about taste. Thanks!
This may be an unpopular opinion but I think its Phantasialnd's best coaster.
I can't blame ya! All three major players in the park are so different that I could see any of them as the nr. 1 depending on preference

Absolutely

You can say that for a lot of theme parks nowadays
