Amazes me the amount of people saying they’ve never heard of these before, anyhow I’ve cooked these many a time and thru trial and error have found the best way to do it is to put the pasta in boiling water for 5 mins to soften before filling and wrapping otherwise the pasta tends to be too undercooked, cheers
Great tip there legend. Cheers.
I could also suggest using a disposable piping bag for the sausage mix into the cannenoli shells.
Definitely
Such a simple cook but man they look so so good!! The fillings are endless. Love your work mate!
Cheers legend. So tasty!
So good mate gotta try this over the chrissy break
Definitely do.
These are great, when I've used beef mince I find having them sit for a while in the fridge is needed as the pasta needs softening. I'll try sausages and see how it goes.
🤘
Great recipe. Can also use a piping bag to fill the pasta!
Absolutely 🤘
Never heared of those, thanks for putting up this video.
No worries mate!
@@LownSlowBasics Looks like a super easy cook, I will def give this a try.
Haha deadset, I can never get the bacon to stick whenever I need to wrap something. Giving these bad boys a go tonight!
The bacon seems to stick well to the cannelloni shells.
Hey Bud....
Try par boiling your pasta shels first, and overlap bacon as it shrinks during cooking 🤘👍
Thanks mate 🤘
Never heard of them before but they look awesome.
They’re incredible.
First time I've seen these. Looks awesome mate. Another one to add to the list. Cheers.
🤘
@low n slow
Give beerenbergs sticky rib sauce a try. Its fantastic
That’s a cracker. Love it
cant wait to try these 🙂
You’ll love it!
Love it 🤙
Cheers mate.
These look incredible! Just wondering where you get your bacon from? It looks thinner than what we get at Coles and Woolies and easier to wrap.
I have put streaky bacon over the pasta shells but it doesn't fully cover it. Do i add another piece of bacon to fully cover it or will it be fine if most of the shell is covered?
The biggest problem with trying to make these in Australia is that we do not have the same type of bacon as American bacon and we cannot easily buy thin sliced streaky bacon that it as soft and flexible / stretchable as American bacon. Probably the best you'll get is D'orsogna packet streaky bacon, but even it is too thick and brittle making it difficult to work with for this application. It may be possible to get a butcher to make you some and slice it thin but good luck. Perhaps really thin sliced Pancetta or Prosciutto might be easier to work with. I'm going to try this or possibly even just shaved ham instead next time.
smoking brisket on a offset smoker do you ask butchers for brisket on the bone or off the bone
Off.
yea buuuuuuuuuuuuuuudy, thought the pasta might be a bit odd to cook but your idea is awesome man !
Cheers legend
Has anyone tried wrapping with something other than bacon? I’ve a couple friends that hate bacon so I’ve not made these but really want too. However, I’m not sure what meat would serve for the wrapping and pasta cooking aid. Any ideas folks?
Made these bad boys today
Hiw good are they ❤️🥳
So tasty hey!

Why? Literally all of them can be 😅
I'm from the UK and have been quite successful in following recipes from this channel. Its usually the place I look for idea's. I just use rubs and sauces I can get hold of but methods are the same
