I bought an X1 and kept the 18"wheels for winter and I bought 19" wheels for summer with wider performance tires. I also found a custom made box (Amazon) that fits under the arm rest and is contoured and looks OEM so it hides the space under the arm rest yet it has holes inside for the USB. I also found a rear-view mirror with homelink which is really convenient. I also added a Cold Air Intake and had a guy program many options on the car using the ODB II connector and software. I add tweeters in front and a Subwoofer in the back with an active cross-over that sits inside the little box to the left of the steering wheel under the light switches.
Octane number in the USA/Canada are different than the ones in Europe. The reason that European octane ratings seem higher than American ratings is because Europe, Japan and Australian only use the RON numbers. American and Canadian fuel uses an octane number derived from the average of the RON and the MON numbers.

Gotta love that lumb ar support.
well made video for motoring , to the point and useful , no BS and waffle like a lot of motor vids
Thank you for the kind words, onlinedread - I really appreciate them!
You’re lucky you got a CD player in your X1. I did not get one which is annoying. And it was a top of the range model.
You must be very old if you are stuck in the olden days of CD?
how did you get mirror with universal remote gate control? in eu is impossible to order
Hi Amilan22,
That's how it was spec'd out in Canada (which is where the video was created)
Not sure why the EU doesn't have that feature.
@@Modern.Motoring i ordered these days new x1 but this option is not available 😭
The M sport trim makes the X1 look bulky and less sporty. The xLine looks much better.
I agree. In some ways the M Sport style makes you think it's the base model if you didn't know?
What? Is 91 octane the "good stuff" where you live? In my country, 91 is the lowest we can get. The others are 96 and 98. Hmm.
I'm in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada - Where are you located?
(Some Canadian gas stations offer 94 octane but not all of them)
