Hi Stu: Great Videos mate, I was wondering if you've ever done a Dreamlink review, but I've just gotten an updated one so now have a Dreamlink T1 Plus & dreamlink T2Prime, can you look at how to share your own movies/tv shows etc from your desktop to Dreamlink boxes. It has a File Browser installed which used to work but now need extra setting. Thanks if ya can help in any way
As far as using a sim card. Can I use a simcard from a foreign country while travelling abroad? Will I be using a simcard with a phone number attached or just a data simcard? Thanks. I'm curious as to how this can work in the Dominican Republic.
Thats good question. It completely unlocked so any countries SIM card as far as I can tell will work. It would have to be a dedicated sim data card as my phone SIM card in which I have unlimited tethering said “no connection” I would check the netgear website listed in the description as well as the cell carrier, just to be safe. I wish I could help you more. Thanks for the comment.
You are correct, however, this device would be a more semi or even permanent feature. Your phone would always have to be on, have power and more importantly be present. Having this router would mean you could free up always having have your phone being used has a personal hotspot. Another way to look at it is that many people get faster 4g/5g speeds than they do their home broadband so paying for a data only sim is more beneficial.

Great video on this device. Does anyone here know who sells data only sims in the USA?
looks a nice bit of kit but £271.90
Deep pockets are needed, I agree. 👍🏻

Yes it should work in DR, make sure the sim you buy is GSR, globally recognized SIM card type
@@StuTech Thanks
@@iam_myster_e Thanks
Correction the sim type is GSM
Do u need to pay for a plan for this or is it buy it and then it comes with the plan im confused on how this works
Bro you buy your own data and SIM card do the math. Still great!
Get wifi anywhere u go
Hold up
So how much a month for service?
That all depends on how data you want and which country you live in. I would check your service provider of choice.
I found it for 11.88 on E Bay, free delivery
That would be the bargain of the year at that price. Check for authenticity. Great find 👍🏻
Will this get 5 g someday are be bad buy
Yes it’s 5g ready.
Hi Stu
Nice product.
Hi Paul. I hope you are well mate👋🏻👍🏻
I don’t understand ...!if you have to pay for a data plan while using it, just use your iPhone hot spot? It’s not WiFi then it’s just a data router

Has anyone tried using this to play video games? Playstation 4 Pro and/or gaming laptop.
it could if its a 5g netgear and you get an unlimited data sim
you could if you get an unlimited data sim and use its lan connection not wifi
