I.M's singing has improved a lot lately, but it's so clear he's afraid of sounding bad and always has been, so that reflects in his singing. He can do a vibrato perfectly like he has done on their short show in Two Tuck Gom's channel recently, but he can only do that when he's relaxed and not thinking too much about it. I hope he becomes more confident in this singing.

I still remember the first time I went to a Monsta X concert, Shownu blew me away with his vocals, and the second time I went to their concert. I went with a friend who was there for the first time. And he also told me he was so impressed by Shownu his vocals. I think Shownu in general is really underrated and people don't notice his amazing singing voice. I don't hear alot about him and it makes me sad since he deserves so much more fans then he does now.

Also, I completely agree with your analysis, specially the fact that the singers in the lower spots have a lot of untapped potential. I.M. has my second favorite timbre in the group, so I'm happy to hear that you also believe he can one day learn how to use his instrument better and start singing more :D. Also, I really wanted to hear your opinion on Kihyun, since he's my 3rd favorite K-Pop vocalists, after Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Baekhyun from EXO. He's in my top three because, although he doesn't have a crazy range, he has a gorgeous timbre and he is a reliable main vocalist that never lets his fellow group members down during performances. This is why they are all very thankful to have him as their main vocalist, and I totally see where they're coming from. I'll be patiently waiting for your Ateez analysis, and I can't wait for you to talk about JONGHOOOOOOOOOO. We already know he has a lot of innate vocal talent, but I've always wanted to know if he's technique is actually good or not (I can see why people say it's not good, but he is so consistent belting insane notes I am inclined to believe his technique is better than most people think, but I might be completely wrong hahaha)! for real!!! there's nothing he can't do, he's one of the best rappers in kpop, his voice has so much potential, he's also a great dancer with probably the best stage presence in kpop so far, and he's great at writing lyrics and producing and can play instruments, and in top of that he's funny, handsome and really supportive to other members and the new starship boy group, i really think he's the most well rounded male idol out there but he's underrated both in monsta x and kpop in general
When he say RNB i really agree because MX singing style is similar to this genre. It is just people not dare to check their b-sides they focus more on title tracks Most importantly thank you for making some research because talent deserve to be recognized 💙

not Minhyuk is underrated dear, it is just the others are so awesome too. you cant deny Kihyun and Shownu are the best vocalist in MX, and yet Joohoney is rapper but can sing well too. Minhyuk is also gorgeous. MX does

Though none of the individuals in Monsta X is my favorite vocalist they are one of my favorites as a vocal group. Their voices blend, harmonize and support each other perfectly. Something that is more obvious if you listen to their albums versus just seeing videos of their hits which is the case with a lot of KPop groups. That blending makes sense when you realize that Monsta X was formed for that. For anyone who hasn't watched it you can find the episodes of "No Mercy" with english subtitles here on RUclips which shows how they were picked and became a group. Be prepared, I cried every damn episode.
This difference in their voices and singing style make the great music they have, they know exactly where to put each one in the perfect place and how to move from one to another!
for hyungwon you should also check out his song ' cool love ' and also the cover he did ' fake love ' annnd also the no mercy performance. you will get to hear more of his voice in those since he has one word in each mx song only smh.

i feel like hyungwons voice is amazing however because he doesn’t really get a lot of parts and starship just uses him as the visual we don’t get to see how great his voice is. However now that wonho is a soloist i hope hyungwon gets more lines and we can see how great his voice rlly is. also minhyuk should of been ranked higher in my opinion 👀

Next should be Jooheon for sure.. Ok, it’s Hyungwon. I get it... it’s alright... then it should be Jooheon right? No, it’s Minhyuk. Also fine and really well explained. As always. Now it has to be Jooheon. Well, it’s Wonho. Also very well explained. It’s understandable. I’m a little nervous about who’s next now. Now it’s Jooheon... I’m kinda relieved 😆 I really love Jooheon. He’s my bias after all, but I like his rapping much more than his singing, because I have difficulties with liking nasal tones. I always knew that he’s a good singer. I just wouldn’t have placed it this high up. But I’m just judging what I like and I have no proficiency whatsoever. Your analysis and ranking is on point as always so I will appreciate his singing a lot more in the future 🥰 And you really should watch Kihuyn’s cover of Believer which came out yesterday. I think you should check out Hyungwon's 'Cool Love' (its a duet he did with another singer) and 'Wish On The Same Sky' (its their recent japanese release) if you want to hear him showcase his abilities more. His falsetto is actually pretty neat:) I think given the chance he would show so much more than he does usually.
Minhyuk is criminally underrated. Even with the amount of lines he got in follow no one ever talks about how much he improves and how beautiful he sounds. Hes also done many styles like his edm trot song with jooheon
I agree with what you said for the most part, except for Wonho’s and Jooheon’s ranking. I would say that Jooheon is 4th and Wonho is 3rd, because I believe Wonho has a healthier technique that is more consistent and sustainable. But Jooheon really does have more dynamic and versatility - he’s a beast. I think people tend to rank Jooheon higher exactly due to the fact that he is the MAIN RAPPER of the group, and his vocal performances really surprise the crap out of people ahaha. And spot on- there’s no bad or weak singer in the group. Objectively speaking, really there isn’t. A main rapper that ranks almost at the same level as the vocal line? A main dancer that is also the 2nd best vocalist? Yeap, MONSTA X is that vocally talented.
In my opinion jooheon ranks higher than wonho because he has a much more diverse and higher range, better technique and stability during live shows. In fact what this video doesn't mention is that jooheon is also very good at singing low notes, which wonho is unable to do. Also there were two instances where at a concert jooheon did kihyun's high note from lost in the dream acappella, he is in fact the only one in the group aside from kihyun that's able to pull that note off. Personally I like wonho's voice a lot, it's very melodic and kind of fairy like at times but in comparison to jooheon his high notes sound weaker and his voice sounds thinner when he does high notes. Shownu's voice is perfect for r&b he has that technique down and his runs are out of this world but he lacks the range jooheon has and he lacks stability when he does high notes because his voice often cracks when. I don't agree that he should be second on the list just because his voice matches mx's style and I think jooheon has a better control of his voice in comparison to shownu. Jooheon has been in the vocal role more often lately and he's always improving but kihyun's technique is so well mastered and perfected to his voice type and his high notes are so much fuller with much more vibrato added to them which makes his higher range sound better than jooheon's. If I were to rank them I would go changkyun, minhyuk, hyungwon, wonho, shownu, jooheon, kihyun in ascending order but ultimately doesn't matter because I love the mix of all their voices and I feel like each member suits their parts and adds a special bit to each mx song WHICH IS WHY I FEEL LIKE THERE'S SOMETHING MISSING EVERY TIME I DON'T HEAR ALL 7 MEMBERS ON THE SONG ESPECIALLY NOW THAT WONHO IS GONE AND I MISS HIS VOICE D: mx is 7 damn it!

I highly recommend Super Junior! OT13 when possible! Which means without Hangeng and Kibum because they have been gone for ages. Super Junior Member counts can get a bit confusing 😂

I actually think Hyungwon's voice really fits slow R&B songs, like for example he covered "Fake Love" during their concert and whilst it doesn't show his skill to the fullest, I think his voice really fits the song! Shownu also collared with a band called PREP to feature in the song "Don't Look Back" which is also a chill bop.
I felt so insanely proud of them this whole video :,) when you mentioned Shownu having an RNB sound I immediately wanted to recommend his collab with PREP “Don’t Look Back” it’s SO good. Hopefully someone has already told you about Kihyun’s “Believer” cover. Thanks for the great video!
Thank you so much for this! I agree with what you are saying, your explanations are so clear and make me value their voices even more. I honestly believe that Monsta x voices play their own kind of individual role and create a complete kind of balance. though every member has their own unique kind of voice, they all blend well so it doesn't sound off. What's even nicer is that in their songs you can clearly tell the differences in their voice even if for example if joohoney were to either rap or sing, it still sounds like joohoney or if shownu and wonho sings a chorus together you still here the diversity in voices but yet they mesh so well. You have jooheon who raps with an intensity it's bright and passionate while changkyun whose a dark kind of mellow and calm. They are completely different but they always work well when together it's like a ying and yang. Although kihyun has such an intense voice shownu can still mesh well. Minhyuks soft huskiness with Hyungwon's stable and firm voice. I think they were purposely put together for that purpose. I can say that Monsta x has to be a really well-balanced group.
I'm really happy to hear you say that though they're not all power vocals they are all very consistently good vocalists with an interesting colour, kihyun's spot was absolutely expected he's been one of my favourite vocalists since i heard his cover of hyeya (which i loved seeing a clip of here although...you GOTTA to see the orginal it's mindblowing!!) Love to see you going through ATEEZ next!, this is biased but i'm really curious about your thoughts on yeosang since instances of him singing are practically in the negative but from his cover of 'me after you' (please watch that if you have the chance it's really the one time we really got to hear his voice) i feel like he has sooo much potential and he's a really underrated misused baritonal presence in the group (reminds me of a less refined taehyung during the too long wra when he was given repeated 0.3s autotuned one liners in a whole song)

First off thank you for including Wonho... for me he will always be part of Monsta X and I agree that I wish he would have been able to stay with Monsta x. The blend of their voices together is a strength that is rare, a lot of groups that are out there dont have that. The loss of his voice in the mix is noticed, having said that , they are still an incredible group that I love beyond any doubt. IMO though I feel that Wonho is 3rd, not taking anything away from Joohoney at all, but I feel that most people are so amazed that this fabulous rapper who can also sing like an angel awes them and gets him extra praise, Believe me he deserves it he literally blows me away weather he raps or belts out and sings. This is why This group deserves more recognition for how talented they are. Love Monsta x all 7 forever. All of these groups aren't extremely well known but definitely have some talent that isn't acknowledged so I think a list for any of them would be great! Nice work on this video as well, Monsta X are super well rounded in all categories and, having seen them live multiple times, FANTASTIC performers.

I really love how honest yet polite you are while ranking them, since i oftentimes see this type of video, where i feel like the person on camera is just randomly complimenting whatever a group does, so the fandom will agree, etc. Also- a few of my thoughts during the video! First of all- i'm super proud of Jooheon. Now, i might be a little biased, since he has been my favorite ever since i got into mx a few years ago, but i've always loved listening to him singing, and was a little shook at how easily he pulled off his part during the fighter part switch version. I also absolutely loved seeing Shownu in second place. He gets underappreciated a lot, and i'm so glad you recognized his abilities. Kihyun? What am i supposed to say? 'The K in Kpop stands for Kyungsoo and Kihyun aka the nations vocalists' as one of my favorite tweets says :D Also- thank you so much for including Kihyuns cover of Hyeya. It's one of my favorite moments of him ever since i first saw it while watching No Mercy. Now, i'm not going to comment on every member, since i 1. Lack knowledge when it comes to singing, and 2. now desperately need to watch your video on BtoB, since i like to preach about how much i adore their vocals. My recommendation for another group i'd be interested in is iKon! They too lost a member, so i'm specifically requesting ot7 (including hanbin, even tho he's a rapper). I watch a ton of vocal rankings on RUclips but yours are far and away my favorite, i love the way you explain what each part of their instrument is doing an how it all works together! I feel like im not just learning about the groups but also gaining a better understanding! I would love if you could do NCT Dream next, they just announced the news of a fixed unit so there a lot of hype surrounding them! Haechan was in you NCT 127 video but he fills a slightly different role in dream, and a member Chenle was formally trained before even arriving at SM so I would love to know just how that reflects in his voice. Renjun as well has a really delicate beautiful voice and I would be curious to know just what you think! No matter what I can't wait to watch your next video!

I think with both of Kihyuns most recent tracks (Again Spring OST & Believer cover) one can very well see what he is capable of and what his personal preference in sound is. Ateez will be interesting - even within this one year I personally think some of the boys already improved a lot (to me esp. I'm curious if you've seen them singing in No Mercy, before they were Monsta X. It's shows a bit more where they started as well as a bit more dimension to the guys. I.M. has grown so much, have you heard his cover of Dean's Instagram? Its gorgeous. And Minhyuk has a couple of covers that are amazing as well. Hyungeon also did a song with a member of VIXX for Pepsi called Cool Love and you can hear him better there. All the boys are amazing, and placing them must be hard. Joohoney shocked me when i first heard him sing, too.

they are capable but the musical style of monsta x kinda don't allow them to show much range. hyungwon's tone in cool love was very well utilized and slick.

So, yeah I understand about I.M, he is a rapper with deep voice (like Mark Tuan a bit) In No Mercy's first episode, Hyungwon and Minhyuk got #9 and #10 respectively from 12 trainees. I was sad for them kinda. Wonho, I miss him. What happened to him was really bad for all the fans of Monsta X and for other fandoms as well. I have friends who are Armies or Ahgases, but they were sad for Wonho too. I personally think Wonho is a great singer too. His voice is indeed soft and nice, making him really good and important for the band. I wish him good luck. Jooheon or Joohoney, when I was firstly discovering Monsta X listening to Alligator and Jealousy all the time, Jooheon's parts were my favorite. This made him my bias when I eventually became Monbebe. His voice is very unique. When he was diagnosed with anxiety and didn't go to America with MX no one sang his parts. This made me proud. Lol. One of my favorite rappers as well. Not the fastest in Kpop but really good. Shownu - Papa, the leader, the eldest member and my mom's favorite. Yes, I got my mom into Monsta X. As a leader is normal for him to be good or best at something. For example in No Mercy he and Jooheon were the two who fought for the first place. Literally. Also Shownu was a trainee at JYPE before Starship. So, he was close with JJ Project and for some time was a roommate of Bang Chan of SKZ. JB said that when Shownu had left JYPE, the dance teacher was very sad that his best student left. So, this explains how good Shownu was. He could've been in GOT7 if he didn't leave though. Still, as a leader of MX he is also really good. His personality is similar to the one of my father. Introverted, silent, they are even born almost in the same zodiac sign. Kihyun, main vocalist. I hope you've seen his Believer cover. This explains that Kihyun can sing even in English like the others, y'know ALL ABOUT LUV showed us that. 4. Overall Monsta X is a great band and deserves more recognition. 5. They got me into Kpop, so they are my ultimate group. I dream of seeing them in real life. But I can't. 😔
This was so interesting! I really love Monsta X's vocals so I was looking foward to this a lot!! Also, Ateez is a great group to do since they have already showcased their voices often. However, I'd like to just tell fellow commentators that doing other Rookie groups like TXT will be difficult and, a bit of shame because they haven't shown enough to be analysed properly...even though I love them I'd prefer to hear your opinion on them when they're a bit more seasoned! I.M's singing has improved a lot lately, but it's so clear he's afraid of sounding bad and always has been, so that reflects in his singing. He can do a vibrato perfectly like he has done on their short show in Two Tuck Gom's channel recently, but he can only do that when he's relaxed and not thinking too much about it. I hope he becomes more confident in this singing.

I still remember the first time I went to a Monsta X concert, Shownu blew me away with his vocals, and the second time I went to their concert.
I went with a friend who was there for the first time. And he also told me he was so impressed by Shownu his vocals.
I think Shownu in general is really underrated and people don't notice his amazing singing voice. I don't hear alot about him and it makes me sad since he deserves so much more fans then he does now.

Also, I completely agree with your analysis, specially the fact that the singers in the lower spots have a lot of untapped potential. I.M. has my second favorite timbre in the group, so I'm happy to hear that you also believe he can one day learn how to use his instrument better and start singing more :D. Also, I really wanted to hear your opinion on Kihyun, since he's my 3rd favorite K-Pop vocalists, after Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Baekhyun from EXO. He's in my top three because, although he doesn't have a crazy range, he has a gorgeous timbre and he is a reliable main vocalist that never lets his fellow group members down during performances. This is why they are all very thankful to have him as their main vocalist, and I totally see where they're coming from. Anyway Jooheon really is one of the most talented idols ever, the boy is a legend
for real!!! there's nothing he can't do, he's one of the best rappers in kpop, his voice has so much potential, he's also a great dancer with probably the best stage presence in kpop so far, and he's great at writing lyrics and producing and can play instruments, and in top of that he's funny, handsome and really supportive to other members and the new starship boy group, i really think he's the most well rounded male idol out there but he's underrated both in monsta x and kpop in general

Though none of the individuals in Monsta X is my favorite vocalist they are one of my favorites as a vocal group. Their voices blend, harmonize and support each other perfectly. Something that is more obvious if you listen to their albums versus just seeing videos of their hits which is the case with a lot of KPop groups. That blending makes sense when you realize that Monsta X was formed for that. For anyone who hasn't watched it you can find the episodes of "No Mercy" with english subtitles here on RUclips which shows how they were picked and became a group. Be prepared, I cried every damn episode.

I think you should check out Hyungwon's 'Cool Love' (its a duet he did with another singer) and 'Wish On The Same Sky' (its their recent japanese release) if you want to hear him showcase his abilities more. His falsetto is actually pretty neat:) I think given the chance he would show so much more than he does usually.
Minhyuk is criminally underrated. Even with the amount of lines he got in follow no one ever talks about how much he improves and how beautiful he sounds. Hes also done many styles like his edm trot song with jooheon
I agree with what you said for the most part, except for Wonho’s and Jooheon’s ranking. I would say that Jooheon is 4th and Wonho is 3rd, because I believe Wonho has a healthier technique that is more consistent and sustainable. But Jooheon really does have more dynamic and versatility - he’s a beast. I think people tend to rank Jooheon higher exactly due to the fact that he is the MAIN RAPPER of the group, and his vocal performances really surprise the crap out of people ahaha.
And spot on- there’s no bad or weak singer in the group. Objectively speaking, really there isn’t. A main rapper that ranks almost at the same level as the vocal line? A main dancer that is also the 2nd best vocalist? Yeap, MONSTA X is that vocally talented.

In my opinion jooheon ranks higher than wonho because he has a much more diverse and higher range, better technique and stability during live shows. In fact what this video doesn't mention is that jooheon is also very good at singing low notes, which wonho is unable to do. Also there were two instances where at a concert jooheon did kihyun's high note from lost in the dream acappella, he is in fact the only one in the group aside from kihyun that's able to pull that note off.
Personally I like wonho's voice a lot, it's very melodic and kind of fairy like at times but in comparison to jooheon his high notes sound weaker and his voice sounds thinner when he does high notes.
Shownu's voice is perfect for r&b he has that technique down and his runs are out of this world but he lacks the range jooheon has and he lacks stability when he does high notes because his voice often cracks when. I don't agree that he should be second on the list just because his voice matches mx's style and I think jooheon has a better control of his voice in comparison to shownu.
Jooheon has been in the vocal role more often lately and he's always improving but kihyun's technique is so well mastered and perfected to his voice type and his high notes are so much fuller with much more vibrato added to them which makes his higher range sound better than jooheon's.
If I were to rank them I would go changkyun, minhyuk, hyungwon, wonho, shownu, jooheon, kihyun in ascending order but ultimately doesn't matter because I love the mix of all their voices and I feel like each member suits their parts and adds a special bit to each mx song WHICH IS WHY I FEEL LIKE THERE'S SOMETHING MISSING EVERY TIME I DON'T HEAR ALL 7 MEMBERS ON THE SONG ESPECIALLY NOW THAT WONHO IS GONE AND I MISS HIS VOICE

I actually think Hyungwon's voice really fits slow R&B songs, like for example he covered "Fake Love" during their concert and whilst it doesn't show his skill to the fullest, I think his voice really fits the song! Shownu also collared with a band called PREP to feature in the song "Don't Look Back" which is also a chill bop.

Thank you so much for this! I agree with what you are saying, your explanations are so clear and make me value their voices even more. I honestly believe that Monsta x voices play their own kind of individual role and create a complete kind of balance.
though every member has their own unique kind of voice, they all blend well so it doesn't sound off. What's even nicer is that in their songs you can clearly tell the differences in their voice even if for example if joohoney were to either rap or sing, it still sounds like joohoney or if shownu and wonho sings a chorus together you still here the diversity in voices but yet they mesh so well. You have jooheon who raps with an intensity it's bright and passionate while changkyun whose a dark kind of mellow and calm. They are completely different but they always work well when together it's like a ying and yang.
Although kihyun has such an intense voice shownu can still mesh well. Minhyuks soft huskiness with Hyungwon's stable and firm voice.
I think they were purposely put together for that purpose. I can say that Monsta x has to be a really well-balanced group.
Hyungwon does have versatility... he doesn't get given lines but if you watch his solo / unit stages you can see his versatility! :)
I'm really happy to hear you say that though they're not all power vocals they are all very consistently good vocalists with an interesting colour, kihyun's spot was absolutely expected he's been one of my favourite vocalists since i heard his cover of hyeya (which i loved seeing a clip of here although...you GOTTA to see the orginal it's mindblowing!!)
Love to see you going through ATEEZ next!, this is biased but i'm really curious about your thoughts on yeosang since instances of him singing are practically in the negative but from his cover of 'me after you' (please watch that if you have the chance it's really the one time we really got to hear his voice) i feel like he has sooo much potential and he's a really underrated misused baritonal presence in the group (reminds me of a less refined taehyung during the too long wra when he was given repeated 0.3s autotuned one liners in a whole song)

First off thank you for including Wonho... for me he will always be part of Monsta X and I agree that I wish he would have been able to stay with Monsta x. The blend of their voices together is a strength that is rare, a lot of groups that are out there dont have that. The loss of his voice in the mix is noticed, having said that , they are still an incredible group that I love beyond any doubt. IMO though I feel that Wonho is 3rd, not taking anything away from Joohoney at all, but I feel that most people are so amazed that this fabulous rapper who can also sing like an angel awes them and gets him extra praise, Believe me he deserves it he literally blows me away weather he raps or belts out and sings. Also- a few of my thoughts during the video!
First of all- i'm super proud of Jooheon. Now, i might be a little biased, since he has been my favorite ever since i got into mx a few years ago, but i've always loved listening to him singing, and was a little shook at how easily he pulled off his part during the fighter part switch version.
I also absolutely loved seeing Shownu in second place. He gets underappreciated a lot, and i'm so glad you recognized his abilities.

Now, i'm not going to comment on every member, since i 1. Lack knowledge when it comes to singing, and 2. now desperately need to watch your video on BtoB, since i like to preach about how much i adore their vocals.
My recommendation for another group i'd be interested in is iKon! They too lost a member, so i'm specifically requesting ot7 (including hanbin, even tho he's a rapper). Their most recent comebacks title track is called 'dive' and i really appreciated the live vocals during their performances

another great vid!! People may have commented this before but I recommend a girl group called DREAMCATCHER who is very different from other girl groups because they have an edgy rock sound!

In my opinion I agreed with your rankings but I do think if starship would give Hyungwon and Minhyuk more lines then they could use their voices more and become more comfortable in all of the ranges. good video👍

I watch a ton of vocal rankings on RUclips but yours are far and away my favorite, i love the way you explain what each part of their instrument is doing an how it all works together! I feel like im not just learning about the groups but also gaining a better understanding! I would love if you could do NCT Dream next, they just announced the news of a fixed unit so there a lot of hype surrounding them! Haechan was in you NCT 127 video but he fills a slightly different role in dream, and a member Chenle was formally trained before even arriving at SM so I would love to know just how that reflects in his voice. Renjun as well has a really delicate beautiful voice and I would be curious to know just what you think! No matter what I can't wait to watch your next video!

I think with both of Kihyuns most recent tracks (Again Spring OST & Believer cover) one can very well see what he is capable of and what his personal preference in sound is.
Ateez will be interesting - even within this one year I personally think some of the boys already improved a lot (to me esp. Seonghwa), but they still habe a lot of potential to improve in the future.

I'm curious if you've seen them singing in No Mercy, before they were Monsta X. It's shows a bit more where they started as well as a bit more dimension to the guys. I.M. has grown so much, have you heard his cover of Dean's Instagram? Its gorgeous. And Minhyuk has a couple of covers that are amazing as well. Hyungeon also did a song with a member of VIXX for Pepsi called Cool Love and you can hear him better there. All the boys are amazing, and placing them must be hard. Joohoney shocked me when i first heard him sing, too.

they are capable but the musical style of monsta x kinda don't allow them to show much range. hyungwon's tone in cool love was very well utilized and slick.

In No Mercy's first episode, Hyungwon and Minhyuk got #9 and #10 respectively from 12 trainees. I was sad for them kinda. Wonho, I miss him. What happened to him was really bad for all the fans of Monsta X and for other fandoms as well. I have friends who are Armies or Ahgases, but they were sad for Wonho too. I personally think Wonho is a great singer too. His voice is indeed soft and nice, making him really good and important for the band. I wish him good luck.
Jooheon or Joohoney, when I was firstly discovering Monsta X listening to Alligator and Jealousy all the time, Jooheon's parts were my favorite. This made him my bias when I eventually became Monbebe. His voice is very unique. When he was diagnosed with anxiety and didn't go to America with MX no one sang his parts. This made me proud. Lol. One of my favorite rappers as well. Not the fastest in Kpop but really good.
Shownu - Papa, the leader, the eldest member and my mom's favorite. Yes, I got my mom into Monsta X. As a leader is normal for him to be good or best at something. For example in No Mercy he and Jooheon were the two who fought for the first place. Literally. Also Shownu was a trainee at JYPE before Starship. So, he was close with JJ Project and for some time was a roommate of Bang Chan of SKZ. JB said that when Shownu had left JYPE, the dance teacher was very sad that his best student left. So, this explains how good Shownu was. He could've been in GOT7 if he didn't leave though. Still, as a leader of MX he is also really good. His personality is similar to the one of my father. Introverted, silent, they are even born almost in the same zodiac sign.
Kihyun, main vocalist. I hope you've seen his Believer cover. This explains that Kihyun can sing even in English like the others, y'know ALL ABOUT LUV showed us that.
4. Overall Monsta X is a great band and deserves more recognition.

Also, Ateez is a great group to do since they have already showcased their voices often. However, I'd like to just tell fellow commentators that doing other Rookie groups like TXT will be difficult and, a bit of shame because they haven't shown enough to be analysed properly...even though I love them I'd prefer to hear your opinion on them when they're a bit more seasoned!
