If anyone out there still has a shot at going to PaganFest '09 you should def go! Moonsorrow wakes the ancestry in me, truly beautiful song writting. and Korpiklaani was the most amazing thing to see live.

@oldsalty7 we in the US northeast are crazy about the folk/viking/heathen/pagan metal bands. though most may not be as exposed since so many bands don't make it over or have a more limited reach due to language. i was lucky enough to get to two Ragnaroek Festivals in Bayern.. so many great bands that we in the US won't ever see. you have a point, and i think the lack of these tours, especially the latest Paganfest, is a result of much of the US not being into this type of metal.
This is Epic , I love this band !!!! OMG , I would give anything to see them live . I live in the USA so , I am not sure they come here . Still , I'd travel the distance to see them .
I can't but agree. Luckily it so happens that I live in Finland and Moonsorrow is coming to my home town in April or something. Should I go to see it? ;)

Tuska is a festival with a lot of participants so maybe they're there to see someone else or they're already tired with continuous festing or maybe it's the constant rain. It's also pretty hard to get a finnish crowd to go completely insane to any band.
Yea I know!!! he is by far my favorite screamer of all time, no1 can ever match him. The Verisakeet album is his best work vocalwise, absolutely amazing. My fav clean vocals prob has to be Heri Joensen. Im gonna see them in April as well with finntroll!!!!!!!!!!

lol i got so many negative feedbacks on my comment just for saying why there was no moshpit. When i hear such epic songs like Jumalten kaupunki i like to pretend like im a warrior in a free for all battle in the middle of a mosh pit. Moonsorrow was even encouraging the pit!!!!!!!
