- A chapter by chapter and verse by verse study of Psalms taught by Pastor Paul LeBoutillier of Calvary Chapel Ontario, Oregon. Visit us at www.ccontario.com for online studies through the entire Bible.
Psalm 88 depicts hopelessness, but then 89 starts with exclamations and acknowledgements of God's plan. I believe that is intentional. To sit in hopelessness but then move on and get back on that horse of being a person of faith. Faith is a gift from God.
Thanks for your words of wisdom ❤
Amen praise God thanks

So love this. The title is perfect. I was reading this psalms 89 (just landed on that scripture) after praying (crying out) for help and mercy on my son. I needed to hear this message once again. It’s confirmation of his faithfulness. Please join me in prayer as I press on on behalf of my son. Amen and thank you ❤
Thank you for this explanation I was searching for this but no one could explain to me what happens after this defeat or misfortune..
I would like to know then what happens to David?
This is like an untold chapter in the book of Kings. As per book of kings & chronicles David always won! He was always a winner. Chronicles even boasts of David's victories his military power.
Where does this psalm fit in?
I was thinking that it's just a conversation that we can all relate to.. but now you got me wondering..😄
Thanks. 🤔

We can take alot from all the psalms to use in our prayers. 🙏🏼
