I’m glad you don’t have hawks around this time a year so you can fly your birds . Here in NJ we have 5 minutes before the hawks are after the birds . Nice birds and video . Happy new year to you and family.
yes that’s the second big return I had this past racing season. One was actually raced and got lost and this one never even raced it was lost as a trainee. always glad to see them show up back at home.👍
It’s crazy that birds come back after a while. I had a black cock bird that was gone for two months a few years ago and he just showed up one day. Hopefully he will get well and not spread anything to your other birds.
Yep I get surprised once in a while but it’s always a great feeling seeing a bird that you thought it was long gone. it seems to be doing much better today, I think it was just worn out yesterday. 🤞
Happy new year🎉🎉🎉 yhr birds look great. I am so glad your bird is back home. He will be fine just keep him seperated for awhile and he will get strong. Thanks again 😘😘😘
I start old bird season middle to end of March. But not sure how it’s going to go this year because we have a lot of restrictions due to a bird flu going around.
Love it!!! ❤️ great video! Thanks for sharing like always. I’m always up for watching birds when there getting feed and especially when the cock birds are cooling to the hens. It just brings out the beauty of how the cock birds look. Awesome rollers as well like always!!! Keep them coming!!! 😊
Just have to consistently fly them and cut back on their feed + Cut the feed with 40 to 50% barley. Then when they are flying 40 minutes to an hour and a half you can go back to the normal feed because they will need the extra protein. Also make sure you warm them and they are free from parasites externally as well. Good luck my friend
Can you teach Homer's to fly what I mean is if they been in the loft for some time will they fly like that or do you have to toss them a couple miles away
I would love to get your contact info to possibly purchase some birds from you if you are interested. I just recently got 2 hens and a cock from Robertson family racing pigeons. Looking for another cock and possibly some rollers. I’ve got 50 all whites id be willing to trade as well. Love watching your videos, your flock is very impressive!
bread from the long lost bird has an honour and great endurance
I will probably do that, thanks 🙏

God bless ... do yiu happen to know why they don't want to fly, and if they do is only for 5 min. And the land really tired

OK... thank you so much sir
Someone had him, i get birds back after the seasons over every year. No sportsmanship left in this sport. Guys will do anything to get the upper hand.
This bird was never raced. It got lost during Young bird training.
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons true but everyone was training, easy to have mixed up with another team. Either way it made it back and can now be tested.
Can you teach Homer's to fly what I mean is if they been in the loft for some time will they fly like that or do you have to toss them a couple miles away
Well you trap train them and Loft fly them. Once they have ranged off and know the area you can take them on the road.
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons thank you
