Actually biplanes on airships was a thing back post WW1/pre WW2. One of the more famous was the USS Macon, an Akron-class helium airship operated by the US Navy in the 1930s. The vessel carried 5 'parasite' aircraft, biplanes attached to spars for scouting missions. The airship was featured in the Hollywood blockbuster film 'Here Comes the Navy' starring James Cagney as well as the USS Arizona which would meet its end at Pearl Harbor in 1941. Macon was also used as a setting in the Max McCoy novel 'Indiana Jones and the Philosopher's Stone'. Macon crashed off the coast of California in 1935, was discovered in 1991 at a depth of 1,500 feet (beyond the reach of conventional divers but not submersibles) and is registered as the USS Macon Crash Site with the US Register of Historic Places. Her sister ship (and class lead ship) is the more infamous USS Akron.
Dear frantic, I must say I don't personally like the new editing style as I find it to be rather choppy but if others enjoy the style and you keep it then that is perfectly okay with me. Yours sincerely, james'reallylongusernamethatis50charicterslong P.S Enjoy what you do as I will continue to love your absurd antics storm works. :)
