He was also hit 10 times in this game and pressured far more. Most quarterbacks, if not all quarterbacks, would struggle in that situation. Situation. I'm a Lions fan by the way so I'm not making excuses for Sam. Just giving reasons why he was likely off.
How Anzo and Amik don’t get graded the highest on the defense is why pff makes zero sense and they have to admit their grading system is extremely flawed.
Yes, Darnold was bad. But Jefferson two drops, Hockensen one drop or two, Van Ginkel dropped what would have been a pick six. I'm willing to blame Darnold and I think he had a very poor game but the route running wasn't good. Help your QB when he is struggling by getting open.
