Sorry for late reply... I used the foam it came with... I layed the clipper on the foam... I made the slots very easy... All you have to do is get a knife and cut then bend, there's your slot... Make as many as you need.

You can get it at Target or Walmart! It's a grip cloth type.. Very Cheap like a couple of bucks
