I think that the big one will serve a great purpose powering my Deer Stand. With the 12v charging capability I'll be able to wire it right through my power port to my internal 12v battery! Thanks for the review Dave!
Nice video! It’s a good idea to test different watt / volt cameras of the same type! This is very helpful for anyone who knows the type of camera they want but are not sure which spec to get! It’s amazing how fast some of them charge, thanks for sharing
Looks like a great option for power to the TC's. They even work when bugs run across the panel surface repeatedly! LOL. Great job on your review. Have a great day.
You are so right...with cost of batteries, you need some type of solar power to make running multipe trail cameras affordable. I just may give that big one a go. Moultie has been a good brand in the past. Great video Dave!
Great video I will definitely look into getting the 3.4 watt currently my camera is plugged into a wall with a 6v adapter and that limits where my camera goes.
I keep telling myself I need to get some solar panels. It's just on public I'm trying to not call attention to my cameras and they are usually in a more covered area.
Looks like Moultrie already discontinued the Universal panels. Their new ones have a smaller battery bank, and some of them seem to be USB-C compatible. It is a shame, because I loved the Universal so much I was considering buying one for EACH of my trail cameras, even the non-moultrie ones.
@ provide a link to the same version of solar battery reviewed in this video, if they are still available. Everything I can find currently listed is the updated panel with the smaller battery bank with the exception of a single Amazon listing for used referb units.
I’ve never used a solar panel. I do use an like Moultrie products. Dave is take it poison oak doesn’t bother you. As seen in the 1:25 minute of the video
New subscriber here 👋🏼 What brand/type of trail cameras do you recommend with using these solar panels? I'm researching for my parents, they have property in a different county that they want to keep an eye on but there's no way to have wifi/Internet installed there, so what trail cams do you suggest? These solar panels on this video are perfect so cams to keep a charge but what type of cam are you using them for?
I was wondering this too. From April to October the built in battery on the Keen is normally fine. This would be a big help during the winter months and times of high activity the rest of the year.
It’s possible the 6v output could be used with the Reolink/Keen cameras but you would need to buy (or make) your own cable to connect to it. These panels don’t include a micro usb cable
It's nice they are made to use with a variety of other brand cameras. Thorough review as always. Great Job!
What a great product! They recharge the battery much quicker than i expected too.

Very nice back to back comparison and review of these solar packs. 👍🏻
Thank you. I appreciate you watching 👍
These look like a great panel, thanks for the review. It does not look like they are available over here yet otherwise we would try one
Excellent information and overview! I like "chew proof cord"; that's great!
Great review my friend! They look like they work awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Great review as always, Dave.

The 3.4 watt panel is only $59.00 at Cabelas and the 10 watt is $99.00 The cost has come down in the last few weeks I guess.
Nice review!! Nice product and you can use with other cameras makes it worth it

@@NCoutdoors-910the current 3.4W panels being sold have a 3350mah battery. The 3.4W panel in this video had a 10,000mah battery.

Any chance that a Wyze cam can work with thesr panels?

Will the big solar panel work with the reolink ranger camera
Do the batteries in the solar panel ever need replacing? And do you need rechargeable batteries in the camera too?
Good question im wondering that also. And does the Moultrie edge camera run off the 6 volt or 12 port??

Can you use it with a Reolink Keen camera?

I have 8 of the 3.4 watt panels. They don't last for 3 weeks, more like 3 days. I wish I hadn't wasted the money on them . Don't recommend.
Especially, not expecially ugh
I appreciate the correction. My hillbilly speak leaves a lot to be desired 😁
