hi, it is the connections at the PCB. pull connectors out and push them back. could be the microswitches x 2 at the back where the spring is.

hi. it is the reverse relay on the pcb. replace all of them. while you work on it replace the micro switches at the endstop spring. the relay contacts burn of all the arcing.

Hi there, What do you think the issue would be that in the mornings it does not want to open the motor beeps but does not open and in the afternoon it works.

@@andriescoetzee4751 it could be the connections at the pcb or the 2 x microswitches at the back. Clean then and try again

Thanks for this. very simple. I am trying to adapt this pc board to an even older motor and was wondering if you have a wiring diagram for this. some of its self explanatory but the limit switches are not marked on the board. I see there are three live terminals for the pc board and wondered if these are used to connect the limits to pins marked R6 via the microswitches.
    thanks. Paul

Hi. The relays are to swap the polarity for the motor to go two different directions which are controlled by the PIC processor. The two microswitches is an input to the processor as well and only carries 5 volt

@@DanaKotze HI dana. Thanks for your reply. I see the microswitch has four has four wires so each switch has both NC and NC open. I have worked out that two of the wires go to the three pin connecter on the board but the other two I am not sure. I am assuming one would go to DC negative terminal but perhaps you could tell me how the microswitches connect to the board.

@@DanaKotze Hi Dana. I managed to work it out and gate now working perfectly. I connected the wire to the trig connection on the board and then all is working. Your tip on the 12v regulator is also excellent as when I connected a wireless trigger to the 12v the timer stopped working, so that component is definitely undersized and can only run the board power.
