- These are some things that I just thought I should share about the gemini gate motor for those of you that are curious about how some of the things on it work and these are just a few pointers to that might help you if you want to try and troubleshoot before taking your machine to the manufacturer to fix something that you might have been able to do yourself.

Hi .. im using that gemini motor so recently i encountered a problem where by sometimes when i open the gate , it opens half or quarter half , so i have to close and open repeatedly till it opens fully. And another thing sometimes after opening or closing the gate it automatically close or open it self. So what could be the problem and how i apply DIY on it.
This usually happens if the power gets cut off or during load shedding and the gate needs to reset to learn where the end of how long it needs to open and close should be. Which makes it open or close very slow in the beginning until it learns the limits. You need to put the gate in manual and have it half way for this process, then turn it on and let it close and it will learn the end of the close. You can also search the manual by just googling then model number and manual.
Mine doesn’t turn, the status LED flashes 4 times when I press the bypass button, what could the problem be?
Hi, according to the manual which you can download at the address I will put underneath, Four flashes/beeps in succession. Release lever not engaged or reed switch faulty.

What if you want to add a remote and there is no learn button?
Are you experienced with Linear Pro? I got a card for dual opener and I would like to use it in a dual Sliding gate. The cable from card to motor is 5 lead inside. 2 of them for motor: I guess the other 3 are move detector sensor. Do you know what sensor type and connection they are?

How to reset to factory default?
The gear doesn't turn but I could hear the motor is turning.
When that happened to mine, I had to remove the motor from the gate to take it into a Gemini shop and they fixed it. So probably something that needs a part replaced inside, maybe a broken gear teeth.

Did you make sure to open it halfway so it can learn the distance it needs to travel first?

What is the use of the 3rd putton
That is the Bypass button so you can use that when the gate gets stuck and you need to use it out the set functions.

Hey thanks. There might be different types of settings then because it definitely does not close with the remote on mine when it's set to close with the timer. I can't even stop it in the middle of I open and change my mind. I can only stop it midway if it's closing from and timer already.
Good day When the Auto close setting is set to a specific time you will be able to close it with the remote or test button anytime while its counting down the time to close. Unless your town house function (DIP 1) is switched on then you wont be able to intervene with the auto close time at all and the motor will complete a full cycle before taking another command from the user. :)
