Interesting vlog Louisa. So exciting when you just don't know what you're going to find! Loved the jewellery stand and all those gorgeous tiles! Looking forward to seeing the finished splashback ... eventually 😁
Love all that you bought. That rusty metal bust would have been great for your jewelry, but would have taken up a lot of space, and maybe was too expensive? Love the extending display stand you bought though for your jewelry. Thank you for taking us with you again. Blessings from Jilly & Madge, from West Devon, England. xxx
My husband and I always go here but unfortunately I’m down with a rotten bug. So jealous. I loved the tiles so will definitely be looking out for that stall next time. I might have bump into you. For someone who doesn’t live that far from we are yet to meet. 😉 the drip stand, what’s so scary, it’s a bit of metal. I wouldn’t have bought it but I understand why you did. x
Oh no! I hope you are feeling better now. I have no idea what's so scary about it yet IV stand. It just made my daughter's feel very uncomfortable. I'm happily using it as a clothes stand to hold tomorrow's outfit.
How I enjoyed going to the Newark fair sitting in my arm chair. My age and actually the huge entrance fee is now prohibitive but I ache to go each time. It’s the most exhausting but fabulous experience and my home has several treasures from there. I shall be travelling to Castle Acre tomorrow to visits relatives and getting my Norfolk fix. Just love your videos but they do make me homesick. Can’t wait to see the next stage of the bathroom. I love the idea of your perfume display cupboard. I too have carted home a toilet seat from a car boot so Mark’s not on his own. Keep well, did Mark buy the spanking panel, he’s a bad boy?
I agree, the entrance fee is too high. It cost us £40 to get in which is too much and frustrating when dealers pack away. Ah, Castle Acre - you will be so close. Enjoy your day in Norfolk 😊
Hi. I'm so glad I found you, your vlog is so inviting & interesting..I'm a new subscriber...We have been to Newark showground it's wonderful & well organised. ❤
OMG.....that booth with all the Staffordshire dogs was amazing.....they are not that easy to find here in America. I have a couple of them without their mates.
Hi Louisa, the market was amazing ! the hat/coat rack , I wish I had a place for that. I agree about the toilet seat ,I wouldn't want to touch it either. ewww. lol. Are you already getting cold weather in August ? everyone wearing coats! Have a super weekend, Paula
Some lovely finds, I went yesterday, and got some lovely pieces of pottery. I always love Deb’s stall where you got the luggage rack from, they always find such interesting pieces. That backsplash will be amazing x
I'm glad you found some things yesterday. I always think that the second day can be a bit lame because lots of the dealers don't return for day two - they're off chasing their next hungry customer.
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle the stalls were definitely less packed than in your video but still lots to see and lots of people there too. We had a very gentle stroll around x
I think the prices were quite standard for a UK antiques fair. The prices in the arcade area are always higher, mainly because they have nicer things which are better quality and beautifully curated.
Great market ,the round chunky basket with the letters on looked like one of those old Covent Market baskets that the porters stacked on their heads .I had 3 of them at one time when I lived in England .Couldnt you get a small trailer to take on your antiquing sojourns in case you see a large item you need ?
So many lovely things. I collect Staffordshire dogs and other animals. I would be in heaven at that one booth. I’m on the hunt for a pair of large Italian greyhounds. I must check out your website. Do you ship to the USA?

2025 is the year of the splash back 😁
Wow, that was a LOT of cake coolers!
I know! Someone's been busy collecting them.
I love watching these, living vicariously!!!
@@lorraineapolon3087 I'm so pleased 😊
Great video. Wish I was there because there was so much interesting stuff.
Thanks for letting us know the US price. Very helpful.

The booth with the Indian goods was phenomenal! I wanted everything. The luggage and coat/hat rack is perfection!
Yes the Indian stall was fabulous.
I join in the praise of the dresses. Beautiful!!
The room renovation is looking great.
The Chapel gilding is so impressive.
Life is never dull.
I think you might be commenting on the wrong vlog?
Great finds and all the old coat hangers on the wall, what a great idea.
I liked that idea too 😊
So much fun! I wish I could go 😉
We love going to these fairs 😊
Thank you so much for showing us the currency differences! I think my favorite booth was the porcelain granite one. Loved the old was stand.
There were lots of fabulous things to see.
😊😊Love the piano accordian music. Some wonderful items
As you know, I struggle with music so I am pleased you liked that one 😊
Love this video (despite the rain). Oh, the tiles - so many gorgeous ones.
We could have bought so many tiles but we've made a good start on the splashback
Love seeing all the fleas and markets! 💗
I'll keep them coming 😊
I love seeing all the markets. Thanks for taking us along! ❤
You are so welcome!
Love the coat,hat,luggage rack.
I'm gutted we can't fit in to any of the three places I was thinking of. Mark is happy because it was meant to be a Sugden and Daughters buying trip.

What a great video. I love the fairs, markets and antique shops that you show us. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks so much! It's always a fun day out.

Wow the blue sky.
It was beautiful whilst it lasted.

Hi Christine. Welcome aboard 😊
OMG.....that booth with all the Staffordshire dogs was amazing.....they are not that easy to find here in America. I have a couple of them without their mates.
They're fun aren't they? I pick them up now and again, if I can find a nice pair.

We really haven't had great weather this year. We've mostly had a summer of rain with a splattering of hot days.
Beautiful tiles
Yes they are 😊
Great stuff
I'm glad you think so

@@amandaj2888 Brilliant. As long as you had a lovely time 😊
Love the copper
It was amazing to see
I believe the item marked 1981 is a distaff which is used in hand spinning. I would have snatched that.☺️❤️
Oh that's interesting. Thanks for the info.
Such lovely items at the market. The prices did seem to be a bit expensive.

I've bought from the copper guy before. He always has great stuff!
I agree! 😍

We are looking for a car upgrade although my diddy car can get a lot in it. We checked out the boot space when we bought it.

I do ship to the USA, you just need to let me know what takes your fancy and a delivery address so that I can work out the shipping charge.
A knackered toilet seat bravo good job
It's going to look amazing
How much did you pay for the vintage clothes hanger? It’s really lovely xx
Not much. I think it was £5.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😊
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
OMG, the toilet seat ! 😂 I must be stupid, but can't understand why you bought it. 😮😮❤
Not stupid, you just don't share our vision.
I think you need a bigger car!!
We are upgrading our car soon.
Prices very high
I didn't think the prices were bad for an antique fair.
😅😅now thats a toilet seat..or for dignity while you shop,a picture frame with a shelf😂😂😂
It's a thing if beauty - or at least will be.
Those chairs too much money they are for outside they will sit at that price
They're highly collectable and will sell without a doubt.
A terrible pun😂😂😂
