the reason why ultraman arc looks like that is cuz its referencing the showa era especially since the director is such a big fan of return of ultraman the title sequence even has references to return of ultraman down to the background and font

0:18 That's one of my main gripes with Arc's design. We've had more interesting ultra designs with Blazar, Decker, Trigger, and others before. But Arc seems so simplistic in comparison.
Also, the way that Arc only has black on his neck and nowhere else irks me a bit since if it was spread more evenly, the design would be more cohesive.
Also, the guy who is played by Abared isn’t voiced by Jamie Linnehan in the English dub of Ultraman ark, and that stinks. I enjoyed that guy‘s performance as steel from beast Morphers, and I really wish you would’ve come back for this.

Also, Tsuburaya and Toho see the potential for promoting to the international audiences with Ultraman and Godzilla. Toei on the other hand... I have no idea why they're so closed off in comparison. Maybe it'll change one day
What I’m trying to figure out, is why the English dubs can’t be more consistent with the actors playing the Ultraman themselves? Take Ultraman Zero for example, he was voiced by Eric Kelso in the ultra galaxy fight series for that English dub, but then he was voiced by somebody completely different in the Ultraman Z English dub that aired right before Blazar started. Why? I just think Eric Kelso is a perfect fit for Ultraman zero. The other guy, not so sure.
