Love this video, hope there will be more like it. I actually have a couple rolls of 120 I haven’t used yet but this is making me want to shoot them ASAP.
Love the shots from the 645, 200 ISO to me seems optimal for me, the 400 ISO in the P67 seems very muddy for some reason, might be scanning/editing, but I really dig the bronica shots
Yes, for the rolls that were pushed, the developing times in D96 B+W Motion Picture Developer were extended accordingly. Read more: cinestillfilm.com/pages/bwxx-dev-times?_pos=3&_sid=84bfe763d&_ss=r
Are there macro lenses for those camera??! If I was in that area, I would use the film in 35mm, with some nikon macro lenses to give more variety style of shooting.
Grat video. I would like to know about how to get the best results from Cinestill 800T in dark conditions. Use of flash, long exposures and ND filters and all you can explain.
Are there any conventional b&w films that you CAN'T shoot at a variety of speeds? For a while all I used was Tri-X and I would routinely shoot it at anything from 25 to 1600 depending on what I needed.
The more latitude a film has the broader the exposure range you can use. Some films are less forgiving than others, and some films require modified processing. BwXX naturally has a wide latitude and processing determines contrast level more than film speed.
Hey team. Great shoot. Just to confirm the development process used for the exposures. Did you push develop the film to the designated EI? I.e. you exposed the film at EI400 and develop it at ISO 400? I would assume the same applied for the rolls exposed at EI800 you push developed at ISO800 also. Much appreciated.
All the rolls were processed with Df96 Monobath, normal processing for 3 min at 80°F with constant agitation, with the exception for the roll shot at 800 we increased the temperature 10°F.

Didn’t feel put together. Like you didn’t have a direction. I want this be be a great channel but it just missed for me. Pandering to trends will cut your life expectancy. I’m old (over 30) so maybe I’m not your target audience. Looking forward to the growth.
another classic CineStill video. who else y'all wanna see us get out and shoot film with??
A video with Willem would be dope! I know you can make it happen 👀👀 Loved the vid

You fellas killed it. Didn't know the Bronica was able to produce such heat.. very slept on.
Loved this one for real
I need more content with Henry involved lol. Amazing shots and amazing insights from both of you.

When shooting at higher speeds do yall change anything in development?

I love this film in studio. 😍

I used the 35mm version of this film and loved the results. Great video and dope music too!
Fantastic video guys! That shot with the high heels hanging from the powerlines is fucking iconic! 🔥
Nice studio/portrait shots.

what's the application on the phone for the lightmeters ? Thanks
The B&W 120 hits different
Linus’ first studio shot 👌🏽

@@CineStillFilm Thanks for your prompt response team. Much appreciated.
I’m curious as to why you chose that particular area to take those outdoor pictures
Guys this is so good rly made me wanna shoot some b&w!
If you shoot BWXX at 800, how many stops do you need to push when I’m dropping off for lab to develop?
We recommend 1.5 - 2 stops depending on the contrast you like. For more contrast, ask for 2 stops.
If I'm shooting this at 800, how much should I push it?
2:11 butters
2:18 with your eyes closed sounds like Owen Wilson
i am new to this. how is variable speed working? isn't it underexposed when im shooting this film on 800 instead of 200?
@@wasseristnassss processed normally, the film will have more contrast when shot at 800 and less contrast when at 200. It has a lot of versatility!
I think it is better shooting it ISO 250 the box base speed for daylight, but great shots.
Great Video! I like how this film looks in a studio setting. What type of lights are being used in the studio? They're continuous right?
AWESOME VIDEO! BOTH OF YOU PUSHING OUT THEM BANGERS!!!! MOS DEFINITELY GOTTA GET MY HANDS ON THAT BWXX SHIT!
- THE BLACKMAN ARMED WITH A CAMERA
First Comment, from lima,Peru. I need to try that roll
i thought this film was more gloomy, still an amazing film stock for black and white tho. gotta get a roll myself real soon
Kinda wish this video explained what variable film speed is. These guys felt more like actors.
Butters !
Butters is the new Sheeesh

"Bronica 645" = Bronica ETR, no?
that pentax is sharp
bronica 😍
Where is the Edie Sunday video ?
we have a playlist of the CineStill Frames video on our channel landing page: ruclips.net/p/PLNvyGaqLG0-CYxo8M4Xpg5YO8gvYWH2Ct
@@CineStillFilm 👍
Why they're not using real light meteres?!? They can't afford a sekonic 308? The shots exposed at 400 asa are underexposed...
MONEY!
Yo. BUTTERS. 🤣
