I totally agree with you about going from the G cord to the D major because I struggle with it some times with that change or transition. So thanks you are a bad ass.
That scene in Fast Times, THAT was the 80's I remember. "My dad's a television repair man, he's got an awesome set of tools" Lol Great lesson Mike, thanks dude. Peace!

@@rockingguitarlessons I'm subscribed to you with about three different profiles bro🤘 you've been my go to source for 80's metal lessons for years now, and they've always been great and 100% correct🤗
Thanks to your video I can now play this properly - I wasn't using pull offs in the main riff, and I could tell something wasn't quite right. However are you sure the A string pull off isn't on the 4th fret (C#) rather than the 3rd fret (C)?
@@rockingguitarlessons I actually can't work out which way is right cos they both sound correct. I think I'm gonna go with the 4th fret though (I think!). Pull-offs are definitely the way it's played though. Edit: Just read other comments. Popular opinion says it is a C#. However I wanna play it with a C now just to piss 'em off! 😃
If you haven't done Its On by KoRn, can you make a lesson for it? The part Im looking for is the rhythm section going into the COME ON! part and the chords too.. Thanks as always Mike!!!
I know Mike my real name is Aaron me and another dude got you to cover Heavy Metal ( Takin a Ride ) by Don Felder few yrs back . But you called me Ike and the other guys name was Mike so you said Mike and Ike honestly was irritated since we had to work to get you to cover it but its all good . I been playing for 35+ yrs but sometimes like to revisit songs to make sure been playing them right . So I know you busy Bro . I teach out of my House to much competition on here with Guys like you and Steve Stine not much I could teach lol Peace dude be going through your Archives . Been wanting to learn some Cult Love Removal Machine !!
I know I could slow the video down and all that but I'd rather see you teach me in real time. I know I can learn this but your going to fast dude your video should say specifically for Advanced players I mean I can play part of a eruption and the lead the intro to Love Walks In so I can learn this but you go way too fast I rather learn it in real time and not have to slow down because that sucks it sounds like s*** anyway thank you if you would do that for me God bless you

@@rockingguitarlessons OMG is this the hill you're dying on? Really? LISTEN to the song. You're hitting the wrong note. I'm sorry, but you simply made an error. It's not a crime, but as a "professional guitar teacher," I'd hope you would want to, IDK, teach people the correct notes. JFC
I'm not trying to be difficult here. And I appreciate that you are helping people learn to play guitar. That's awesome. But please, teach them how to actually play it. Sammy actually plays it in the second position, as well, (although it's easier as pull offs w/open strings, so I'm not sure why he does that). In any event, in every timeline, on every planet, it's a C#. Good day and thanks for the memories.

During that verse riff, during the little lo-e and a run, I swear I can hear a c# in there not a c. I dunno...
yeah in the studio its a c bending to a c#..live its a c#
Think there's a C# in there., but I'm good at being mistaken. .

Opening riff is wrong. He goes to the C#, not the C.
Nope. You're wrong
