Apart from that, they got a lot of statistic indicators that the Chapter 1, the original and essential formula, worked better overall and is much more pleasing and appreciated by the casual public and the fans as a gaming experience in general. And not only for the nostalgia factor, but thanks to objective factors that highlighted the differences between Fortnite and other games. Instead every chance they get, they try to make Fortnite look more like other generic, inauthentic games. It's almost as if they are trying to kill the game by suffocating the community with garbage every once in a while. Just like 343 did to Halo, for example. You can't say that they don't know what they're doing.

I think that at least creating graphics more cartoonish like you said and fixing some bad changes would really bring back fortnite maybe not to its prime, but close to it. But we will see if any of those ideas has any chance to happening ❤

I remember when chapter 2 came out I told people that fortnite is making a mistake and I'd prefer if they just kept the chapter 1 map. Since that, I didn't even follow the new seasons, there were too many what made it not special anymore.

Also chapter 4, was the most dangerous chapter as it almost killed fortnite, as in c4 s4 lots of employees got fired and the seasons were randomly placed and the story was in texts. Chapter 5 seems like a recovery from the mess chaoter 4 was. Ik the meta verse is now their first priority, u can see that season 1 had a mini event that was supposed to be a surprise but leakers ruined it. The same for season 2, it will have a season finale mini event, even if it's a mini event, still they try to bring back the events once a season. And seeing the road map the seasons don't seem randomly placed by having a little context. Season 3 is apocalyptic because of Zeus' wrath and season 4 will bring the new villain which the oracle prophecized. In conclusion sorry for it being long but fortnite can't die as it listens to the community. But you're right the UI should get fixed and the rarities should return. And if fortnite rises again. We may get normal live events. Goodbye
For me, the ultimate artstyle for Fortnite was back in C4 when it was still cartoonish and vibrant, even more than C2/C3, so if they sticked with that artstyle I Would be so Fcking Happy
i honestly dont know why theyre doing this.. they are killing the game themselves i started playing in season 4 it was so fun at that time.. in my opinion chapter 2 was very nice, the bosses, map changes etc and chpt2 s2 and s4 were super fun and thats also when there were a lot of players playing the game. i kept playing until chapter 3 s1 and the game just didnt feel the same anymore the weapons and map sucked... now i tried playing again and the weapons are too confusing with the option that you can combine different parts to make one weapon and the locker and item shop design are soo bad.. i hope they can make maybe a seperate game or game mode where you can choose whichever season you wanna play that would maybe bring old players to joining the game again.

Season 11 seemed like we were off to a great start for a new chapter, but Season 12 dropped the ball so hard, that was when the game died, and it's never recovered. One thing they did recently that really annoyed me and seemed completely unnecessary, was retconning the Chapter 1 storyline. They've changed it so that the 7 are seven different people, and completely scrubbed Singularity from the storyline, and tried claiming that everything she did was actually done by Paradigm. It just seems like one last middle finger to any original players who were left.
Fortnite has done this to themselves, if they had used their brain and saw what the players liked they wouldve never died, now they just think "oh no the game is dying, lets bring back the old fortnite for the second time because we arent creative at all" this game was most of my childhood, this new sh¡t destroyed something i used to love.

Something i'd like them to do is port over save the world guns and locations, they are very unique, fit the artstyle perfectly and would save a lot of dev time on these new weapons and assets which could be used to make some other stuff
Fortnites biggest problem for me its that its devs always want to evolve it at every way possible different graphics so many useless game modes , useless changes in skins (they removed their rarity wtf) , They added scopes and other stuff for weapons that honestly don't belong into the game .Also they have this mania with collabs i mean this helps them and makes them money and i also liked it at the start but nowdays the game is full of collabs like Fortnite deserves the phrase everyone is here more than Smash Bros . Also the collabs are the reason that epic itself make horrible skins and pretty cheap quality battle passes compared to the chapter 1 ones . I honestly still play the games because of nostalgia, my skins , and because its the only game i actually know how to play good...
