First reaction to this video was "He looks like Jon Snow" and I am living for it. Great video, I am playing diablo immortal atm, nearly a week now been playing, haven't spent anything yet but only lvl 56. But buying the boons and small bundles isn't a lot cash and I guess is optional ... I also believe that massive high paragon levels are fairly pointless and are just an ego thing. All in all I haven't stopped playing and I've not spent anything yet.. next battle pass I'll buy
I'm pretty burnt out on the game tbh it feels more like a chore to do alot of these things and being immortal doesn't make it anymore fun. The caps on everything make me feel like not playing honestly I don't play as much as I use to I just do dailies and get off then repeat, I appreciate your videos and help though.
Remember when diablo was the rpg series for ppl who were way less into micromanagement? I've been having fun, I'm only lv20 or so, but I wish I could just buy a diablo 2 port since it seems this game is gonna turn really complex especially if I don't sink money in it ($25 the cost of a high end mobile game seems to get almost nothing in the game, idk). Having diablo on a phone is great, but who knows how far I'll be able to progress before it becomes the kind of game I don't like.
Also just don't like the idea of being given homework assignments by a game, as an alternative to spending money on progression. The mobile game freemium cliches will likely be what kills this for me. Slow night though, so back to the grind for now. It's nice to play an rpg on my phone that doesn't require the stylus, tho I digress Icewind Dale should be fun to play through after 20 odd years. Might get a $10 grip for the phone though because my little finger really starts to hurt from gripping the phone in a way where I can use the thumbstick, if it's not more comfortable with a soft edged case.
This is a great guide. But I’m surprised you rank Elder Rifts as relatively lower priority. I don’t enjoy them, but I see them as the only way to level my legendary gems (very very very slowly).
The best I can say about the game is, If you're a mobile game fan and like the game, it's great! If you're a Diablo fan, it's a joke... half of the content of Diablo 3 with re-hashed gear, quests, classes, and builds, and the high tier play locked behind paywalls. Skill becomes irrelevant behind money, ant its literally impossible to be as strong as a paying player if you're F2P. Even in 50 years of play, a free player cannot awaken legendary gems.
I love you but why are you discounting the 1600 hilts players can earn from chests per week in vault raids? That's massive for f20 and minnows. I wrote a whole article for my clan about knowing your bail window based on your luck with the PUG you land in. One fail on 3rd floor is a loss of 15% of income from chests. Not to mentions over a million quick gold a week... Just saying. F2p and minnows need the be resource management minded. I'd be glad to spend a minute talking about it with you if you ever wanted. I'm usually online in game after 10pm est.
Can green set items drop from the gold vendor? After I got my magic find up, I started getting legendaries from it. Even essences I was missing. (Also curious if holy fire is viable in pvp :) Thanks for the video! Every good p2w game needs a youtuber to teach the f2p
Is the monthly legendary crest every month of game time or the month starts when you buy it? Would be good to known. One way let’s you procrastinate the other way bones you if you don’t buy it very month to the day .
Im f2p and play around 10 hours aday do daily's and farm leg's and this game still sucks. PVP im lvl 70 para whales own me all the time even now people who pay alittle $$$ that are lower can kill me just because they up there gems and im only 1854 cr and ive played every day since launch
This game isn't worth all that time I'd say cut your play time in half and go do other things you enjoy. I'm the same Para lvl as you and basically the same cr mine is 1898. I only play 3 to 5 hours a day sometimes less the game is such a grind if you don't spend money and I'm not about to when I can buy a ps5 game instead.
@MidWayz, I played 3 hrs a day for the first 2 weeks, after which I'm now doing 1 hour. I'm lvl P48, 1300cr. Don't feel I'm missing anything by not being high up in the rank. Practically impossible to get to Hell 3 or 4 for f2p. But I don't care or need it. I like the other commenter advice that you cut your play time in half and go enjoy other activities
Lol. Even if the game wasn't "pay to win" I bet you still wouldn't be high up in the ranked leaderboards for PVP. Everyone who is whining about "whales" beating them, would likely still get stomped even if the game was F2P entirely. If you spend 10 hours a day playing a game you are miserable playing, you have no life and need to really step back and reevaluate your future and priorities. Get yourself a girlfriend or at least a pet to care for. Touch the grass. Or touch some ass. Just stop bitching about "whales" beating you up as if you not being able to place in first in Diablo Immortal is stopping you from moving forward in life somehow. I get what your saying if this is your first p2w game. But compared to other ones like rose of kingdoms… it’s about standard? Better some places and worse in some places.

First off, it's a mobile game, not a console game so playing in spare time or between shifts/on breaks casually, makes it a great time killer and is fun to play. The many bosses/monsters and easy controls make it a win/win. As for PVP, I honestly haven't run into many players who are dishing out all kinds of money to upgrade their heroes so it hasn't effected me really. I haven't really gotten to a point where I'm ready to go hardcore In pvp yet anyways. Im only in Hell 1. Paragon 22. My PVE damage and survivability is great with crusader. This game is a great version of Diablo for on the go enjoyment. I personally think they did a great job developing it. Sure there are tons of things that I think could have been implemented better or thought through more but these are things I think over time will change or be updated and altered to meet the players wishes. I don't think any games should be pay to win, as it's just not fair and basing a game on how much money one has instead of how much skill one has is just a greedy action to take, but regardless of our opinions, it is the way it is and there's nothing we can do to change that. However, the pay to win in this game has been very distant from my experience so far and I have even won most of my pvp matches in a decent spot so far, so if the pay to win players in my server are spending big, they sure do suck ass. Lol. Optimize your time spent playing, educate yourself on the best ways to level up and gain CR as a F2P player and enjoy the game. So many people worried about pay2win and probably haven't even attempted pvp or tried to play much at all. They just keep hearing people crying about P2W and are jumping on board with the crying. A bunch of whiney babies sobbing about something that hasn't even affected them in any way whatsoever. And if it hurts your butt that much then why are you here watching videos like this??? I'd rather micromanage characters etc, not currencies, like in a forgotten realms game. Oh well, at least it's still some fun for free.

Vault is a great source of gold and Hilts
Gold is a non-factor and Hilts barely give you anything. Use that time to go and farm, it will give you more return on investment.
what? raiding the vault is massive. 270 hilts per run and the cap is like 12 times in a week
