maybe it is just me, but I much prefer this one over tube pultecs for mixbus/masterbus. So much tighter lowend.

LOVE IT. I really wanted to hear this one more in deep. I have the previous mk2 (The very first one, no MS), and can confirm all that you are saying here. In my opinion, the only software that can achieve similar sounds is the diamond EQ from Studio DMI, but It will only scratch the surface. Sounds superfire!

Great to hear man! Yes, that one is incredible. It’s the ease on the SPE of how it can seriously overhaul your tone that just makes it feel lethal.

@@thismixissick Yeah man, you can really feel the frequencies. Absolutely in love with BM.

@thismixissick thanks for this awesome review brother!! Much love from Boca Chica, Dominican Republic!! I have the BM Mastering EQ… what is the difference between the two of them?!!

Love to hear that man! SPE has updated internals. Sound wise I end up using the SPE if needed for the Pulteq type curves, and the MEQ for parametric stereo or M/S processing. I would not say you need the SPE if you have a MEQ.
