This time it's Cora and Cheryl's turn to have their babies. Even though I felt well prepared, things did not go well in the beginning and a hard lesson was learned. We did end up with a few beautiful new baby goat kids for you to meet though!

Awe Julie. I could tell by your eyes something very sad happened. My heart goes out to you.
I know you morn the loss but also use the opportunity to store the extra colostrum for future kids that may be stressed right after birth. This is how we carry on and what we do for the animals in our care.

Aw my heart goes out to you. I just came across your videos and I'm really enjoying them. I'm so sorry you lost one but you can't blame yourself. I know that feeling all too well. Its obvious you love your animals and do all you can for them. It's impossible to know when we need to be there and when we don't but you are important to your herd and you have to take care of yourself too. Even if you had been there the outcome could have been the same. Although we don't understand it, everything happens for a reason. That's just my opinion but it's how I get through the rough parts. It's still hard but it helps me. I wish you nothing but the best and look forward to catching up with your farm videos. You have beautiful goats!
