I know this is a year old video, but my guess to why the Radeon Card was not picked up around the 12 minute mark is the lack of a second cpu wich is responsible for those PCI slots (it supplies to pcie lanes)
The onboard video uses the front and back VGA or via the IPMI (web interface) to see what it's doing. A GPU would slot into one of those 2 risers that I pulled out, however I believe a different model riser would be needed for me to do this :)
I mainly use my servers for learning and training with various things. They do also host a few servers for friends to play around with. The internal networking is 40Gbps, sadly the internet connection is only 24Mbps download and 8Mbps upload due to me living in a more rural area.
this looked like it was published almost 3 months before i got my server which also got upgrades except for the ram which i thought i wouldnt need the one i picked up is a 5u Dell PE t320 but its also running server 2019 even with out the ram upgrade its far better than its original config
I AM PREPARING AN IBM X3400 M2 SERVER WITH TWO INTEL XEON X5650 PROCESSORS WITH 64 GB RAM AND RX 570 VIDEO BOARD. AND WITH SSD DISK, SAS AND HDD PLUS OTHER MODIFICATIONS THAT I WILL INFORM YOU AFTER. VERY GOOD VIDEOS. GREETINGS
Taking of the CPU coolers just to look ať the thermal paste is a very bad idea. When you put the cooler back on, it will make air bubbles and hurt the cooling. Rather test it under load and monitor temperatures right away, or have a look, cleen it and reapply new paste.
New intro hype
his studio drivers went brrr
These are always interesting to watch, Good work Dan
I have the same server and it's a joy to play with it :)

Did you make brick cpu cooler?
How or where do you connect the video card?

I know you like to spray them but I use the battered silvery/grey top of the server as a bragging right like a Vikings battle scar!!
I call those cards raid card too. :)
Dan is very gud server man!
What exactly do you run on all of those servers and how fast is your Internet connection there?
