when he says "melted butter" what he means is butter melted with a heat source and brought to a rolling boil in order to separate the milk solids and fats (the process of making ghee or clarified butter). The "melted" butter he is using in the video is just butter that is softened and left out at room temp. The fats and milk solids have not yet been separated, so it doesn't matter.

I appreciate this. It's unifying in a way and isn't political at all. Whether you love or hate the politics of the time isn't the point. It is just about the food, which is something we all can get behind (like what he said at the end about how food brings folks together despite not having political beliefs that aligned with that administration). I appreciate Bill's stories about what it was like working with different world leaders at the time... And who doesn't love a good chocolate cake recipe?!

Lately, I've noticed anything at all to do with George W. Bush, however apolitical the topic, someone will post that 43 is a war criminal. I just read one such remark while scrolling down the comments not two minutes ago. SMH Edit: And there are several more as I continue to look over the remaining comments.
