My mom ex boyfriend worked at a hotel in Texas that President Bush was staying. The hotel was catering after he was doing some speaking engagement and they were serving fancy food. What was fancy food, I’m not sure but Bush wasn’t pleased. He was like “where’s the tacos, the fajitas, enchiladas??Where’s the Tex-Mex food???” Mind you this was in San Antonio so he expected food what we’re known for

He’s an American. Just marinade a single sliced apple in corn syrup, throw it in some violently pink Jell-O along with marshmallows, chocolate chips & M&Ms, set, drizzle with more corn syrup, sprinkle with electric blue sugar & serve!
I don't know the recipe, but I would just slice some nice apples of a sweet variety (Fuji, Honeycrisp etc), then drizzle a some kind of coulis (cherry or cranberry), perhaps with a hint of balsamic vinegar. Garnish with a bit of flaky salt and mint leaves.
I really like this man... I'm a liberal Democrat myself and I love the way he cooks dessert, number one, and I like the way he speaks. Very respectful.

The "melted" butter he is using in the video is just butter that is softened and left out at room temp. The fats and milk solids have not yet been separated, so it doesn't matter.
