I have been entranced by you and your family's music since I first found your rendition of "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" and have loved listening to it all ever since. May the Lord bless you and your family as you continue.
Keep on speaking - praying - singing the Truth! May God richly reward you... for enriching his people with the truth that flows from your prayers! Thank you!
My eyes filled with tears. I miss the beauty and mystery of our Holy Faith. Thank you , Father. MayEaster and every dat be fukked wuth Bod's generous blessings for you.
Please take what I'm going to say sincerely, the music your family produces is among my favorites that I've ever heard. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Have a blessed Easter.
These are wonderful to have for Lent. I appreciate all your recordings of Lamentations, the beauty and sorrow blended. I believe this one is the best so far - I love the profundity of the deep basses in the last verse.
Ibadat Lamentasi or Lamentation Service is so populer in Flores a catholic island in Indonesia but unknown in the other provinces in Indonesia. I don't know why. That's why I miss lamentation service so much in holy week. Thanks for your explanation about aleph beth etc...
FinDan From what I've learned about life so far, its good to be open to anything that can lead us to a higher understanding of our reality, basically, anything is possible to be true that is unknown to us. (Which is over 99% of our perception of reality we don't understand about yet). On the other hand, the music is much agreeable to be very wonderful.
Laudetur Jesus Christus! Beautiful, as all of your work. May our only true triune God bless you all for spreading his glory, brothers. Greetings from the Czech republic!
Yaaaaaay! I love Tenebrae, it's my favorite part of Holy week. Thank you So, So much for doing this! You did a very Good Job. :) I'm so happy you put another song out, it feels like I've been waiting forever. :p
I'm quite intrigued by songs inspired by biblical things, being a christian myself. Its not common to find songs like this. I love it!!! I hope you do more!
This is very haunting to listen to. I can feel the dread and fear behind his words as he awaits the destruction and chastisement of Israel... Thank you for making more of these! ^ ^ Have a Happy Easter, and I look forward to your next videos!

That's funnny, I actually was 3 years in the seminary and we sang it with this tone. So when I saw your new video I was like "well it wont be the Mozarabic tone but lets see. And it is! Youre the best ! "
I spent 4 years in the seminary too, and the Mozarabic tone (which comes out of the attic during the Sacred Triduum) is truly one of the things I miss most.
Y'all just release like 3 songs on a week, it's too much greatness TOO QUICKLY!!!! Give us room to breathe. All jokes aside never stop making these kinds of songs please. I will say that I prefer the style of singing as in Song od Kings, y'all really shined in that one
Please create many more of these you are extremely talented this and song of kings are some of the most fantastic chant style videos of youtube, very useful for studying! (even if it is only a playlist of these two at the moment!)
Out of curiosity, have you considered singing this in the original Hebrew rather than the Latin translation? I've always loved the sound of Hebrew and you do some amazing stuff with Latin already.
They are singing the traditional Chants for Tennebrea in Holy Week (a truly beautiful liturgy). It would be difficult, unwieldy and historically unnatural to try and sing that in Hebrew.
Great job guys! I was wondering, since your channel is called Clamavi de Profundis, why don't you sing Psalm 129? Another idea maybe Psalm 51 or Dies Irae?
Here is a new song we recorded. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we did singing it! Please read the description for more details.
Yes! I was waiting for something like this since "Song of Kings"
