- Alaska, United State. There's a small town where has a unique event that celebrates the Fourth of July with car jumps from a cliff.

Engines roared from the short exhaust, smells of oil, dusty ground. This is great and the real American event and I really enjoyed it.
I went there to film all cars jump as normal speed and 60fps (to 24fps)high frame rate slow motion.

アメリカ合衆国アラスカ、グレーシャービューと言うこの小さな街では毎年7月4日に「車を崖から落としてぶっ壊れるのを見て独立記念日を祝う」と言うクレイジーで実にアメリカ的なイベントが行われています。短く切られたエグゾーストから聞こえるエンジンの爆音と、オイルの臭いと埃にまみれた素晴らしいイベントです。最高＆最高。
今回は撮影班としてイベント前から参加させていただき、ドキュメンタリータッチで準備段階を撮影、本番のジャンプはノーマルスピードとスローモーションでの撮影を収録しています。

That limousine had a surprisingly rigid frame, I thought the entire thing would just crumple on impact.

Same here. I thought it would be a lot weaker than it was. Held up well.
There's an old crash test video somewhere on RUclips of a limo crash test by 5thGear or one of those British car shows. Basically the driver is guaranteed to be crushed to death, the remaining occupants will die of blunt force trauma when they slam into the front of the passenger compartment which kept its shape. Basically, don't get in an accident in one.

Absolutely. Instead of going to the old folk's home, they go out with a bang, lol. No sitting in a junkyard rusting away. They died doing what they loved and gave us some fine entertainment to boot.

I love it up here. I had no idea bump in the road glacier view had this going on until a few years ago. I laughed when I saw trail toyz jeep out there. I had no idea this were into this. Their rigs are nice.

Usually these cars are on the verge of death and are about to go to a scrap yard anyway and when they launch them they're not controlled by a human at all they just put a brick on the gas pedal tie down the steering wheel and let It go
