I loved this game! Great video! Thanks for doing what you do.

TNX for the sub dude. Its amazing how a simple addition of chasing down and ramming a car off the road can add such a new dimension to the game play. Chase HQ is a forgotten classic in my book :)

If you're playing the Master System version in an emulator, try the Japanese rom. It doesn't have that screen flickering issue and all the text is in English, only the HUD appears differently but otherwise the same game.

The only one I could ever find was the Europe version, do you have a link to the Japanese ROM?

The black and white Game Boy version of Chase H.Q. is worth owning, for the cost of a sandwich and a plate of french fries: there's more than one version on the GB (without even getting into the totally different sequels made for the GBC) but the one you want is one player only (and B&W)… the other version (that allows two player via link cable) is worse, IMO (but by all means try both and make up your own mind, if you prefer).

I don't think I have ever played it on the Gameboy.... I will have a look for sure :)

Never understood how Ocean screwed up the C64 and other versions of this so badly considering just how right they got it on the speccy and amstrad. If ypu can pull it off for one you can pull it off for the others

I agree, I used to think that Ocean had lost interest in the 8-bit platforms once they started doing Amiga and ST games, but the speccy conversion of this proved otherwise, while still not a great game it was better than the C64 version.
