@@موسى_7 I didn’t say drugs. I said Alcohol. And while yes alcohol does impair judgement, it impairs judgement by significantly slowing down the processing of the frontal lobe- which is the part of the brain responsible for critical thinking, among other things. Humans have impulsive thoughts and feelings all the time. Most of us don’t say them out loud, or act on them, because our brain tells us “Not a good idea” for any number of reasons. Since alcohol slows that process down, we’re more likely to say or act on those thoughts. But those thoughts and feelings still generate from within us. It’s still who we are. Enormous amounts of money can cause a similar effect- but instead of changing the speed of our brain’s functionality, instead money tends to protect people from consequences. Because people are too afraid to challenge the rich person, or the rich person can just throw money at the consequence and make it go away. But if you go long enough not having consequences because of money, you’ll start to think you’re invincible, which will lead to rash actions.

Seriously, it's not like the house Republicans have been the last line of defense, thwarting the evil left...they're too busy doing nothing. So when does this leftist uprising begin? I'm waiting...
Definitely more funny than tragic. It's been fun to watch the prescient people calling him out for ages before it became mainstream, but far more fun to see huge segments of society now ridiculing him. (MARS MISSION BTW)
He's still the richest man with powerful companies. The masses can ridicule him but he will still amount to more than 99.9999% of the population by just about every metric.
He's probably surrounded by yes men. Anyone who could talk sense to him is gone and because he's so rich, there is no way for him to get back in touch with normal people. He probably legit thinks his internet humor makes him relatable to the general public. It could almost be considered sad.
The ultra-rich are not regarded to be "normal," and their impression of poverty alone is often viewed and acted upon with such apathy and exploitation.

He proposed a submarine that wouldn't fit in the cave and went after the diver who got the kids out. Because 'boat no fit' was too complicated an engineering concept for him to understand.

The most top notch undewater speologist in the earth directed the task and told Musk that his plan was unfeasible, and Him took it as personal and engaged in diffamatory behaviour as the 5 year old child He is.
You should really dig a bit deeper into this story. He was asked to continue the sub project by the president of Thailand. The guy (only one of them) he called a pedophile started the whole thing. The guy probably was a pedophile as well. One of the Law Tubers (I think it was French) read the law suit. Musk doesn't come across nearly as bad once you know all the details.

Elon is easily one of, if not the most talented grifters of all time. That's all he's ever been. His successes have just been to acquire other people's hard work and slap his name on it.
Sorry that is literally the story of most successful people. It's call resource exploitation, it's foundational for capitalism. Steve Jobs is the perfect example case.
Social media has proven to be the most effective form of propaganda ever devised. Very few people have independent thoughts on issues anymore, people just go along with whatever beliefs get them the most upvotes. Of course the evidence is everywhere that upvotes are manipulated constantly. You only need look at the scammer comments in this very comment section - see how they have hundreds of upvotes. It all means nothing now. Do yourself a favour: Unplug. Turn off. Spend more time with people face to face, with the people you love. Spend time in nature, eat well, exercise and sleep well. I bought his first biography written by Ashlee Vance in 2015. From that time until the manned Demo-2 flight, I really rooted for Elon and what he does. But it was really hard to be a fan of his in the last couple of years. I still hope he will be able to pull off what he said is his plan, but for quite some time now I have rooted for his endeavors, not partially because of him (As in the past.), but despite him.
@@y2u3Okay. You win. Mr. Musk merely wishes to save civilization from what he calls a “mind virus.” Which he deems himself uniquely qualified to do because of his ability to buy control of a platform for public discourse. That doesn’t improve my assessment. At all.
Trusting Tesla's self driving steering reminds me of man's first attempts of flight when a French man jumped off the Eiffel tower with Batman style wings without a doubt in his mind there would not be failure.
They weren't "batman style wings", it was the worlds first parachute. And his popularisation of the concept led to the creation of the first working parachutes, which makes him a pioneer. This is what Musk is as well, you have to be willing to go against the overwhelming majority of mindless sheep who cling to the status quo at all times in order to achieve anything new.
No it isn’t. It’s stock value is almost exactly what it was a year ago and slightly below what it was five years ago. It had a peak 2020 to early 2022, similar to many other media corporations and has dropped since then, but it’s not at all “tanking”.
I hope this starts spelling the end for the belief in our system being a meritocracy. Making money doesn’t mean you are smart, it means you are willing to treat people however you want to make money and climb on their backs. The few people who are successes while treating people right are amazing, but they generally don’t reach into even the top 10k richest people in the US. Think your regional and local businesses still connected to their employees and community. This guy was just a contrarian that was rich to start and lucky.
There is no perfect meritocracy. But that doesn't mean capitalism shouldn't exist. It is, after all, the most efficient way to allocate resources. That said, capitalism needs a referee. Government should be the referee and regulations are the rules.
lol, you really think he accidentally ended up being involved in some of the most important companies today (Tesla, space x, PayPal, open ai) just because he’s an asshole, I’d love to see you try

We have a saying in Uganda that the more money a man has the more his manhood starts to ich so he becomes unstable also shouting probably the same is happening to elon Musk
Wow. One of the cringiest interviews I’ve ever seen. Seeing people his age have such low maturity and emotional regulation always gives me so much existential anxiety. I don’t want to live my whole entire life with the maturity of a middle schooler, but the resources and responsibilities of an adult. I’m not even sure people like that have the self awareness to resolve it. Even if they suddenly developed the awareness, then they realize they’ve spent their whole lives that way 😩 what a nightmare… the only anecdote/prevention for that level of immaturity/delusion is maintaining a totally honest standard of personal accountability and healthy humility.
Musk's views on running a business are pretty clear from the first NYTimes interview at the beginning. "If the company fails because of an advertising boycott, it'll fail because of an advertising boycott... and that will be what bankrupts the company, and that's everyone on earth will know". The problem can't be with Musk, of course, it must just be a problem with his customers. Musk spends the entire interview looking out at the audience to see if people are laughing and responding to his inflammatory remarks, not at the interviewer. The attention seeking behavior is frankly pretty pathetic. Musk revels in the attention of his fanbase and the public's eye and wants everyone to know that he's an stable genius. If Twitter is failing after his changes, and his users and advertising customers leave him, it must be their fault somehow, not him as the owner of the business. If Tesla's self-driving software has caused accidents and isn't FSD as advertised, it can't really be a problem, the real problem are Musk haters who are trying to mislead the public. If SpaceX receives negative press after failed tests and damage to the local environment, the problem must be with the press, not with the way the company is run. The problem can never be with Musk, it always has to be this vast conspiracy of haters and every company that has it out for Musk. Keep telling yourself whatever helps justify your Tesla investments, folks.
Did you miss the part where there was a group of leftists who concocted a hit piece (media matters) which was the basis for the boycott? Yes Disney was part of that group of companies calling for boycott. Leftists pretend to care about doing good while doing evil. If Disney cared they wouldn’t advertise on TikTok or any social media. Elon is certainly not perfect but he is aiming up and that should be acknowledged. He is doing what he thought the world would appreciate. Electric cars won’t save the world but he is pushing manufacturing forward.
I am a TSLA investor, but not exactly enthusiastic about Musk. Tesla and Musk are not the same thing. Don't mix them. Musk only owns 14% of Tesla. Tesla is actually extremely profitable regardless of external influences (unlike X, lmao). Tesla also defers revenue from FSD, so the vast majority of that is not being counted in cash flows, either. Just because Musk has narcissistic tendencies does not mean Tesla corporation is a fraud.
It’s narcissism, it’s has always been. But now he’s even more delusional. He see proverty, but doesn’t realise he contributes to it by his actions and behaviours with employees.
How does he contribute to poverty? By firing useless employees? I think he did them a favour. It's on everyone to manage their own career in way to ensure they are competitive and useful.
I don’t see one hint of narcissism in his behaviour. He dresses humbly, doesn’t preen himself; ok, so he’s had a hair transplant maybe. I’ve never heard him brag about how brilliant he is, and this is the first interview where he’s alluded to his considerable wealth. His only delusions have been things like thinking we can build bases on Mars within a decade or so. But, as the song goes “If you don’t have a dream, how’re ya gonna make a dream come true?”
@@sirrathersplendid4825 he’s delusional about his knowledge which includes what he says about neuralink and what he says about being the one who knows the most in the whole world about manufacturing. He’s an absolute asshole with employees. He seems to be an asshole with wives too. I could keep going. There are plenty of examples. He lied about Asperger’s. he change the algorithm just so his tweets could have more exposure. I can keep going.
Elon pausing for the crowd to laugh after the first "Go f**k yourself," and the audience just being dead silent is funnier than anything he's ever said
I'm not a fan of Musk, but you launch into this from your opinion that he is 'deranged', before trying to sell us scammy learn-a-language-fast courses. Why not just report from a neutral perspective?
I wouldn't buy a car from him, but I do appreciate his attitude of not letting himself being controlled (or blackmailed as he put it) by advertisers - that's the right attitude.
It's good to have a spine. But this is a $44 billion dollars business we are talking about here. And 25% of that 44 billion elon borrowed from the bank with 1+ billion dollars interest each year. When owning a business, you have to cater to your customers. Moreover, like it or not there are people whose savings and livelihood depends on twitter. This might also negatively affects other companies that elon owns.
Aren't geniuses supposed to be good at math? The population of auto accidents, if Elon was being honest, would be self-driving cars using autopilot at the time with fatalities. I'd like to know what percentage those 42 fatalities was of how many cars using the self-driving feature. Really good video.
I'm not a Musk defender by any means but it's worth pointing out that for the crash talked about at 23:09, investigators found a portable DVD player in the wreckage which was still playing Harry Potter, so it's possible the man was not paying attention at all to the road when he T-boned the semi. The man unfortunately trusted too much in the technology.
Yeah, but it’s also worth considering that Musk has been calling this a “full self driving” system for so long that it’s not unlikely that someone would just assume the car is perfectly autonomous.
@@epicrotfl7017 I agree that regulators should force them to rename it to "Advanced Driver Assist" or "Advanced Autopilot" or something like that. Until it is actually L4 autonomy. But I am fairly confident that it will, ultimately, become FSD. Just might take a while (certainly a lot longer than Musk has predicted, lmao)
@@epicrotfl7017 I assume that the dude mentioned in the video, who was running a channel showing off his autopilot in every video would know the car is not perfectly autonomous, but I agree that in general, Musk's statements are incredibly dangerous and irresponsible.
The system is touted as full self driving in pretty much all material and every time Elon talks about it, yes you should be keeping your hands on the wheel and paying attention 100% of the time to be ready to take over from the car making mistakes... at which point you might as well be driving yourself and not worry about the car suddenly doing something unexpected like blasting under a semi. Also nice way to ignore that an exact same kind of incidents have happened afterwards, because a suitably colored semi in front of a Tesla will just seem like open sky to it and it'll blast straight thought it.
I wonder whether he was visionary changed by money and power or always like this and just hid himself well until last few years. But its funny and sad to see how one of richest and most influencial person on Earth has been going down shithole last few years.
I really dislike musk and have done so for the last decade, I would love to cheer stuff like this on but this seems like cherry picking data and the two examples provided as unsafe self driving were both recklass driving by the other party and the truck drivers will likely be charged with manslaughter, we really can't blame the self driving for that. A human would have a strong possbility of winding up dead as well and the fact you picked these examples indicates there were few if any severe crashes caused by the software which is really good, if the truck was driven by software as well no one would be dead. Once again I hate musk with a passion but this feels like misinformation.
@@tatata1543 I stated it twice to make it clear I wasn't defending him, and to avoid it looking like I was and the criticism being written off for that reason, I forgot on the internet even "I hate that person" can still be seen as yeah he is clearly a fanboy defending him... and ignoring all other points raised which is why I made it clear lol we are doomed
@@tatata1543No I didn't I never once defended musk I pointed out the points raised in the video were flawed. Its not the same thing. But this is clearly an echochamber with no critical thinking. Musk is an unstable racist that dosent make the points raised against self driving cars here sound.
IDK about the USA but in Europe the roads are so busy that large trucks would never move if they did not get in the way of other traffic sometimes - like when making a turning in this case. The truck driver would certainly not be charged with manslaughter - instead, a car driver hitting such a truck would be charged with not driving with due care and attention.
Really good video. Excellent reporting. Excellent research. Perfect explanation of the data. Overall, this video is wow. I own a Tesla , and I'm glad someone took the time to do an indepth analysis like this. Very helpful
I know Musk Simps and the Far Right think Disney is suffering, but they are far from it. Even with flops from the MCU, they own too many exclusive content. Star Wars, 20th Century (Aliens, Die Hard), Fox (Simpsons), they own all that. Unless the Far Right and Elon Simps plan to boycott all of that (hint, they aren't). Finally, Tesla's FSD is a joke - the driver needs to make split second decision changes to prevent major accidents. If that is needed, I might as well drive myself.
@@commonsense7754 DIS is down about 50% from all time highs, which is roughly the same for TSLA. I don't think DIS is going anywhere. Neither is TSLA, regardless of how many concerns there are about autopilot.
EVs DO help the environment. They need to be driven more than about 13K miles to be ahead of ICE cars in terms of lifetime CO2 emissions. Also the grid gets cleaner over time so EVs are better and better. Just wish someone other than ***king Elon were as successful at making them work in the real world.
@@jeffberwick yeah and 30% of US emissions comes from transportation. So even if the grid was 100% renewable, that would only solve 70% of the problem without EV's. EV's are a necessary piece of the puzzle.
@@jeffberwick automobiles create 8% of global carbon emissions so EVs are a solution to a non-existent problem. China and India are burning coal at ever increasing rates. EVs consume metals from mining at exorbitant levels (copper, nickel etc.) which creates more GGE than producing an ICE car. EVs are just virtue signalling. There are so many issues with EV cars that they are not worth the effort.

I just like him more now. He speaks the truth, which is why people like you think he’s “tragic”. And if Twitter dies, it’s still a huge success to me. The advertiser boycott was the result of a BS hit piece that Musk is now suing over.
From white nationalists and antisemitic conspiracy theorists, Musk is now eagerly engaging with the far right in the UK and Germany. Musk’s grandfather J. N. It seems to me he bought Twitter purely out of spite and he is now paying for the consequences. Combine that with all the overpromising (or even false advertising, who knows?) Tesla and SpaceX made to investors, it seems everything is just falling apart.
You need to pay attention when using driver aids. That means looking straight ahead, being ready to take the wheel or use the brakes. DO NOT watch movies, text or sleep. You and only you are responsible for the safety of yourself and those around you.
I don't think of Elon Musk as deranged, rather he is standing on principle, the principle of free speech, which is seen as derangement by those who think that it's OK for big tech to suppress free political speech if they don't agree with it. This has nothing to do with anti-semitism by the way. Disney deliberately placed their ads next to some "anti-semitic" tweets which they didn't have to do. They could have supported the speech they agreed with by placing ads next to those. Let's face it, if woke Disney boycotts X, more conservative advertisers will replace them anyway, and subscribers will make up the rest. X is far from dead financially, and even if it were to become insolvent, people would still be using the platform, and Musk could reduce the staff to a skeleton crew to cut costs. He can afford to run X into the ground if he wishes, but he has bigger plans to turn it into something else entirely, more along the lines of China's WeChat app. The only reason I'm commenting here by the way, is for the benefit of the general public. This video is a hit piece, and this channel is part of the anti-free speech problem we have on the internet. I don't expect this comment to last long.
Guess what…you want “free speech”? There is nothing more free than an advertiser not choosing to “do business” with a private company…. It’s literally “business 101”.. Twitter will fail and it will be the fault of one man-baby with a big ego.
Elon has had serious personality problems for a long time (see posts by his ex-wife and others). These problems can get much worse as people age and the problems remain untreated or otherwise unresolved. Rich people can fail to see the seriousness of their problems as their money convinces them they are a genius at everything. They also get surrounded by 'yes men' who fail to make them aware of obvious shortcomings and generally pander to their 'genius at everything' view of themselves. If you think Elon is crazy now .. watch this space as he ages further !!
Disney blames ppl for not watching their movies. Twitter blames advertisers for not advertising. FFS take responsibility for your business. You CEOs yup about free market (there isn't any bc you fixed it for yourself) and capitalism. But when you can't succeed (fix market for your benefit) than it's everyone else's fault but yours. It kind of depends. If you don't need advertiser money to survive, then you can do whatever you want. If your business model relies on income from advertisers to keep the lights on, well... you can choose to make the platform acceptable to them, or you can do without and lose money every year. lol money dont change who they are but drug do and if some one have alot of money they tend to do drug legally or not.
@@khanhnguyen-tt3ffare you implying Elon Musk does drugs?
@@anjelica948I disagree about drugs. They impair judgement.

Oh did he offend Bob Iger, your favorite billionaire?
Elon Musk is a dream salesman but delivers only nightmares.
Nailed it!
I must agree with this rational and reasonable assessment as this is indeed FACT!
Tesla stock took me from six figures to seven figures since 2018. Looking for eight figures in the next few years!
Just wondering how do you think he contributes to poverty? *not proverty*
Elon is a shithead at math.
Yeah, exactly. And he was using basic autopilot, not FSD. Basic autopilot does not receive frequent updates. It is, also, free.

@@epicrotfl7017 I agree that regulators should force them to rename it to "Advanced Driver Assist" or "Advanced Autopilot" or something like that. Until it is actually L4 autonomy.

You and only you are responsible for the safety of yourself and those around you.
what did he say that was anti-semetic?
Elon is not an implosion risk, he is a King among CEO's in the USA.

@@perfectallycromulent: Many major Tech Companies are based in and around San Francisco like Apple.
Google, Intel, Facebook, and X. San Franciso is one of the most left-wing places in the USA meaning that many of the major tech companies and therefore many of the major social media platforms are heavily left-leaning. That's why it kind of is representative of the whole world.
He's being melodramatic. The situation in San Francisco is more to do with gross economic equality (that he benefits from) rather than a a socially left wing social media network.
Dude, Musk doesn't take his tweets seriously, neither should you
I agree %100 with Elon Musk he will get richer nothing to worry. X will soon become a very rich company.
I'm not surprised that there are a lot Musk fanboys defending him in the comments. What is a little surprising (although I guess it shouldn't be) is how much thinly veiled anti-Semitism is coming from those people. It actually makes Elon look way worse than the video itself does.
Agree 💯
Zionists keep trying to fool everyone calling antizionism antisemitism. These are completely different things.
I am Jewish and Elon is ok with me
Sometimes we forget the rich is human aswell.
From white nationalists and antisemitic conspiracy theorists, Musk is now eagerly engaging with the far right in the UK and Germany. Musk’s grandfather J. N. Haldeman, whom he presents as a risk-taking adventurer and whose politics he dismisses as “quirky.” In fact, Haldeman was a pro-apartheid, antisemitic conspiracy theorist who blamed much of what bothered him about the world on Jewish financiers.
I am the regular man. I am with Musk. Isn't this man standing up for free speech? Free speech is priceless. The whole anti semetic narative is one huge victim status propaganda psyop. Big up Musk!
So much free speech that he bans anybody criticising him.
It's always hilarious to watch poor people defending billionaires.. The comment section shows you how gullible general public and muskrats are😂
I love how you cherry pick cases of where it failed.
I can tell you are a Dem by how deceitful you are.
The sarcasm dripping off this video is a true chef's kiss. Well done!
11:50 jesus christ, that man is seriously deluded, and the worst part is he really seems to be believing it, not simply being arrogant.
You are so Main Street media.
Twitter is still around.
His main enemy is his ego...
Agree
Nope, from white nationalists and antisemitic conspiracy theorists, Musk is now eagerly engaging with the far right in the UK and Germany.
I used to not be a fan of Elon but I am after him not giving a fuck. It's his life.
Last time I checked the dudes still a billionaire who owns Space X, Tesla, X, and who knows what else...I wouldn't say he's imploded at all.
An implosion implies a short timespan and dramatic collapse. If anything, the worst he'll have is a slow collapse like a balloon deflating.
Yeah I agree but he is certainly going a bit off the rails.
Everyone forgets nueralink... could be the biggest money in his life time from that one
@@lorinwood3300 Think of all the quadriplegics that would kill for a chance to use their bodies again. I knew a girl from my high school years ago that is a quadriplegic. Neuralink has incredible potential in this area.
all of his companies are on corporate welfare.
And the reason i would never consider buying a Tesla is because of him
Where is the implosion??
Obviously, the small hats. Hell, WSM may well be a small hat himself. 😉🤭
There's none.
@robinc3841 I'm shocked to see someone who was in support of GameSpot bull run talking about Elon is imploding
He honestly has a point, why would advertisers be able to influence what your company policies, rules or terms of services are?
It kind of depends. If you don't need advertiser money to survive, then you can do whatever you want. If your business model relies on income from advertisers to keep the lights on, well... you can choose to make the platform acceptable to them, or you can do without and lose money every year. In the case of Twitter, the users aren't the customers, they're the product. The advertisers are the customers.
Because advertisers are the true consumers of your product. They consume leads and data from the users.
They are the customers.
If he doesn't want X to rely on advertisers then X needs another revenue stream other than ad revenue. Perhaps they can pull it off, who knows. He wants to try to turn X into the western version of WeChat (super app in China). So far, it ain't going too great is it? Lmao. But we shall see, I guess. If it takes to long to build more revenue streams, X could become insolvent.
“Why would you allow your customers to influence how you conduct business?”
All these stories seem to exclude his launch of SolarCity into my pioneered renewable energy markets, his marketing lies, his bankruptcy & 10 years of Internet Distribution Marketing Tactics we have suffered.
Musk is fast approaching the reality event horizon, the point where a narcissist first hears the universe say "No."
Musk to Earth : GFY.
Earth to Musk : GFY.
i have a far more positive view of Elon from most of the commenters here.
Oh no, he told Dosney CEO to 'go fuck himself' what a truly Bad Man he is. /s
I am mixed. Clearly he is ego-driven. But yes, he is a great engineer. I see other comments comparing him to Howard Hughes, and I tend to agree.
And I won't forget how he transformed Twitter into a real town square. And how he spoke of free speech being fundamental to civilization.
Many of those here don't seem to appreciate that, as long as their ideological enemies are silenced, forgetting that they will be silenced one day if censorship continues.
Don't worry. Take you're time. You'll join us eventually.
Musks commitment to free speech on Twitter will turn it into a juggernaut. I think this will be Musks greatest gift to humanity.
Things aren't looking good? Things are looking better than they ever have for Elon Musk. You can just say: I don't agree with what he did, said, or believes. That has absolutely nothing to do with the reality of his success being bolstered by this move.
i appreciate him not playing ball. right or wrong we don’t get honesty from people at his level.
Excellent business analysis. Very poor opinions though. Please keep the politics and gossip out of your videos. I love your videos and they are usually very informative from an unbiased perspective.
What antisemitic tweet? I listened to a long interview with him and a bunch of rabbi's after the atack on Israel.
Antisemitism has lost all meaning. Anyone detracting the small hats is labeled antisemitic.
Go Elon!😁👍🚀💥 Elon is his own man! One of the few men that the woke world cannot control!😊
Agree that San Francisco is illuminating the fast lane to the end of civilisation.
How did he implode? He's fine. He was always "that guy".
they don't understand how a person could have both good and bad things about them. I hope they can experience freedom of thought one day
