A stunningly beautiful tying. I'm getting ready to try tying my first matukas this week. They are a wonderful fly. :-)
Thanks Terry, great and easy streamer pattern with many opportunities for variants.
Beautiful fly.
Good looking fly but tough background to see anything
Not sure what you mean Ryan, but thanks!
very nice, what would the size range be for this fly?
Thanks Bobby, depending on what type of hook you are using really. But It would be difficult to tie it smaller than a size 8 and I wouldn't go much bigger than a size 4.
Nice, thanks. What vise are you using? Jaws look great and adjustable angle... I like!
Hi, Thanks. The one I am using in this video is a Regal regular vise.
Hullo Barry, I think I figured out that it's a Petitjean. Lovely. Thanks for your vids. Great fun to watch!
@@ammiddleriverstudio5839 Yes your right, sorry I was looking at the still image. It's a Swiss Master vice.
I tie the rib in on top, thát makes it easier to place and tie the silver badgers, but it is then probably better not to flatten the stem....;- )
- I also make a body hackle, strip the one side and tie it in by the tip, and winding it forward behind the rib, which is wound first, thát way the rib protect the hackle somewhat.
Top tip Bjarke!
you are very clever
Takker Line.
Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail! Sadly a lost quality in the world at large. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you Jeff and you are sadly quite right.
Братан все классно но так занудно
