🍅 The POMODORO Technique 🍅
The POMODORO Technique is a method (designed by Francesco Cirillo in the 1980s) to optimize and improve time management during the development of an activity. It consists of using a timer to structure time in fixed intervals (pomodoros), normally 25 minutes dedicated to the activity, followed by a 5-minute rest break and longer breaks at the end of four pomodoro.

White noise is a CONSTANT sound (a random signal for which its values at different times are uncorrelated). The UNIFORMITY and monotony of this kind of audio favors reaching MENTAL STATES OF ABSORPTION AND CONCENTRATION.
We usually live surrounded by variable sounds (conversations and talks from colleagues and neighbors, television, radio, etc.). These variable noises attract the attention of our cognitive system and negatively affect our ability to concentrate and mental performance.
White noise works by BLOCKING VARIABLE NOISES. Your brain immerses itself in the monotony and constancy of white sound and cancels out other external variable noises that could negatively interfere with study, memorization, or work.

To everyone who's studying with this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, and your pet so you have a study buddy (if you have one)
Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.

Regarding what you say about music, it is very common, that happens to me myself. I love music (I'm an amateur musician) but it holds my attention too much to study or concentrate. For this reason, many of the music that I upload to this channel in another video are "abstract" music, without defined rhythms or melodies, so that they do not generate that "theft" of attention. Although I'm still experimenting and researching on it. I hope to improve it. :)
