In the Basque Country (and also, in all North Spain) cheesecakes have a part of *real* cheese. Most cheesecakes use plain spread cheese, or cheeses that have not been cured (cottage cheese and so on) but the Basque burnt cheesecake and also the cheesecakes from Galicia and Asturias include mature cheeses in the recipes and on top of that they don’t use that much sugar. The result is a cheesecake that still melts in your mouth, has a hint of real cheese flavor and is usually served without jam or syrup. If I had to sum up the flavor in a sentence: tastes like heaven.
Will, i highly suggest lubricating foods like, white rice, chicken, meat, eggs etc with Greek yogurt instead of ketchup or hot sauce, it's actually how Mediterraneans lubricate their food lol
Let me add my "protein lasagna" that I would barely call a recipe, it really started as throwing what i had at home together: frying meat, topping it with tomato passata, and some bean hummus - but it really is delicious.... so minimal version - fry minced meat, layer it with tomato sauce and bean dip. if you're hungry it's close enough to reminding you of lasagna Long version so for the meat sauce fry minced meat (and vegetables if desired, carrots..) and then cook it with canned tomatoes, real tomatoes, tomato paste, whatever you prefer or want to deal with , or just use any recipe for a general bolognese sauce. Bean "hummus": put white beans (a can, or 200 g soaked) in the food processor , put in up to two tablespoons of sour cream, or one sour cream one ricotta, up to your taste a bit of tamari/soy sauce and some hot sauce.mix it up again. if you want it cheesier/creamier add some ricotta then basically layer meat sauce and bean sauce in a small ramekin, si you get three leayers each, and if you really miss lasagna put a bit of shredded cheese on top. and enjoy.

Try to make your cookie dough base by throwing cooked (e.g. canned) chickpeas in the food processor until creamy. Add sweetener, protein powder, spices, chocolate chips to taste. So good.
Ngl a big thing for me when losing weight was changing my cream sauce recipes to be less calories dense. This mostly involved replacing cream with almond milk and thickening with a small amount of xantham gum. An example of this would be: -Cut 200g brown mushrooms and 2 shallots -Add to 300ml almond milk and reduce on high heat -Once reduced by a decent amount, add a crushed beef stock cube and some xantham gum (tip of teaspoon) and continue to reduce until you get desired consistency -Season with salt, pepper and perhaps a squeeze of lemon juice to taste Went well with chicken

I have a good sweet recipe. It’s my go-to so I won’t binge. Super easy and delicious. Literally just a 35 calorie plain rice cake, and two tablespoons of “lite” whipped topping (20 calories). Top it or mix cinnamon into the whipped topping. It tastes just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. 55 calories and EASY. I’ll usually have two of those for dessert. You can also top with about 8 dark chocolate chips, but that brings the calorie count up to 95.

Mine never got mentioned buts it peanut butter pie 170g Greek yogurt vanilla flavored 32g powder peanut butter 1 scoop chocolate protein Mix and eat like will says gotta be quick
I eyeball the amounts so you might have to adjust the amounts a little bit here, but DEFINATELY worth trying out: 1 cup fat free Greek Yogurt 2 eggs (less egg than yogurt) 2-3 tablespoons of oat flour 2 teaspoons (or more, taste it if you like more) cardamom Erythritol to taste A pinch of salt Blueberries to your liking (a hefty amount but too much will turn this into a liquid) 50ml / 0,5oz unflavoured protein powder (or maybe Vanilla would be nice) Mix in a baking dish that allows you to form this into about 3-4cm (1-1,5 inch) thick layer. 150 °C / 300 °F degree convection oven for about 35 minutes (until not sloshy in the middle). I've really been enjoying this lately. Let cool down in the fridge until cool (basically overnight). Delicious.

We don't seem to have skyr in nz unfortunately but there are some good Greek yogurts. Not the same options 0 fat wise though with dairy across the board. A few low fat ones but the uk and USA seem to have much more 0 fat cheeses and yogurts. I guess a bit of extra fat isn't the worst though and maybe indication the products here are a bit less processed

Not sure if they have them in Canada, but here in California we have cotton candy grapes. These grapes are just available part of the year. The cotton candy grapes are good, but better when put in the freezer.

I think you could freeze the bread to not have such a tedious process as often. Also I’d try the bread in the frying pan and using a little butter spray for crisp 😊
2:52 just for anyone that needs to know: eggs are sterile. it is only the outside of the shell that contains salmonella, anything that is inside is sealed away from the environment that salmonella grows and festers in. raw eggs are safe as long as the outside of the shell doesn't touch it and even then it is extremely rare. so to be on the safe side, if you want to use raw egg in something you aren't going to cook, then crack the egg, crack it on a flat surface and not the edge of the bowl.
German here, cheesecake is really different from what you would expects as an Ameriacan. Ours sometimes has dough, sometimes not. And it is absolutely the flavour you got from this one I think. We use ricotta, cottage cheese, cream cheese, but still no hard cheese and bind it with fluffed up egg whites. You get a juggly baked cake, that doesn't have to be creamy and has this harder layer like you have with pudding. I enjoy no bake cheese cake way more. no matter what European recepie I tried, even with lemon in there, it does not have the light and fresh taste. (I mean, it does not pretend to be a nice summer cake. Still is a staple.)

I think you could freeze the bread to not have such a tedious process as often. Also I’d try the bread in the frying pan and using a little butter spray for crisp 😊

2:52 just for anyone that needs to know: eggs are sterile. it is only the outside of the shell that contains salmonella, anything that is inside is sealed away from the environment that salmonella grows and festers in. raw eggs are safe as long as the outside of the shell doesn't touch it and even then it is extremely rare. so to be on the safe side, if you want to use raw egg in something you aren't going to cook, then crack the egg, crack it on a flat surface and not the edge of the bowl.
German here, cheesecake is really different from what you would expects as an Ameriacan.
Ours sometimes has dough, sometimes not. And it is absolutely the flavour you got from this one I think. We use ricotta, cottage cheese, cream cheese, but still no hard cheese and bind it with fluffed up egg whites. You get a juggly baked cake, that doesn't have to be creamy and has this harder layer like you have with pudding.
I enjoy no bake cheese cake way more. no matter what European recepie I tried, even with lemon in there, it does not have the light and fresh taste. (I mean, it does not pretend to be a nice summer cake. Still is a staple.)

I make juice out cabbage, celery, and baby carrots. Could definitely use that pulp for that bread instead of throwing it away.
