1:50:00 I just realized when Gloria has this negative mood-swing and says those lines, and when you have context from her memory slides, she basically viewed Raz as her mother in that moment and is venting all her unfiltered feelings to her. Which is sad, because now that her mother is dead, Gloria will never be able to do that on her own and move on, that is until Raz came in fortunately. It’s pretty dark and sad when you think about it.

This game was a perfect combination of educational and entertaining. It combines all the fun of being a psychic adventurer and warrior with concepts of psychology such as collective consciousness, psycho-dynamic Freudian therapy like dream interpretation, and actual talking therapy for insane enemies. I also enjoy those Censor creatures. Always saying "NO!" all the time.

I haven’t played this game in 12 years and when I saw that part again I was like “UUUGH NOOOO.” I remembered failing every time and watching him do his stupid cartwheel over and over lol
The meat circus was so annoying because I kept falling down and missing the trapeze nets that spring you back up, so I would always have to climb my way back up. But I would never be quick enough to catch up with Oleander before he was mauled by the meat bunnies.

Boyd's story is interesting. He was fired from his job, which angered him to the point of developing the pyromaniac persona of the Milkman. This persona was contained within him, only occasionally revealing itself. Until Coach Oleander gave him a post-hypnotic suggestion to burn down the asylum to cover up any evidence. This hypnosis is manifested in his mind by the scout group.

And that‘s not even it, he‘s connected to Milla‘s tragic story. He was the one who burned down the house. The demon like things in Milla‘s secret room and Boyd‘s „Mini-Bosses“ are exactly the same.

(Outside of the story, you were originally supposed to fight the nightmares in Milla's mind, but the designers cut it out because it didn't fit the theme of the level and inserted it post hoc in Boyd's mind instead.)
I really enjoy these games cause they actually acknowledge how raz works real hard and they appreciate it~ too many games have the troupe that the main character basically does everything and is disregarded and or completely ignored, but in this game raz himself astounds and continues to impress even the best of the psychonauts with his abilities and they show their gratitude for the work he does~ i think it makes everyone feel good that raz gets recognized and I love it

ya I hate those Cliffhanger Story Endings that are intended to be left as Cliffhangers so the players or readers can determine for themselves. it really leaves a bitter taste because people want a actual conclusion.
Actually the cliff hanger at the end of this Game is revealed in Psychonauts: In the Rhombus of Ruin. Its available now and in it you rescue Lili's father. However it does present a new cliff hanger so if you don't play PitRoR Psychonauts 2 will probably give you a refresher coarse on how this games cliffhanger went down. I completely recommend checking out PitRoR thought it definitely fuels your need for more.
You know what I love about this game, all the side stuff that you can find, all the side conversations, events, and random stuff that you can come across. It keeps you coming back to see what else they put into the game.

I was too young to finish(Cause of blockbuster) rarity(hard to find) and small(I played when I was like 12 and didn't understand psychiatric stuff I just saw pg and was like "Adam and MOrgan" said they say ass). that said this game and the man who made this game are examples or creativity and dreams coming true at its finest. I hope it has a sequal and many more people can accomplish this same feat.

Psychonauts was a commercial failure (since the publisher were Majesco). the developers had to buy back the IP rights from Majesco, and remastered (or just ported, dunno) the game to the Xbox One and PS4 (I do not know if the Xbox One release is just the original version via B/C). The game is avaliable on Game Pass, and got a VR sequel, and a sequel on Xbox One, PS4 (B/C with PS5), and Xbox Series X.

My thoughts exactly! The style is very compatible with Laika's style, especially the style they used in Paranorman.
Coraline...Peter Chan was also a pre-production designer(uncredited) for the Laika's Coraline cartoon... A little time after he done Psychonauts.

I was too young to finish(Cause of blockbuster) rarity(hard to find) and small(I played when I was like 12 and didn't understand psychiatric stuff I just saw pg and was like "Adam and MOrgan" said they say ass).
that said this game and the man who made this game are examples or creativity and dreams coming true at its finest. I hope it has a sequal and many more people can accomplish this same feat.

i loved this game, for as glitchy as it was i was still able to have lots of fun, god every time i got to a new world it was like dang is it gonna be harder for me to platform and of course it was, the ending kicked my ass cus of whole grinding aspect kept making me fall off till i barely had any lifes left, but i beat the game the ending glitched out again for me but i beat it and man was i satisfied although right after i did feel like seeing psychonauts 2 even now.

Psychonauts was a commercial failure (since the publisher were Majesco). the developers had to buy back the IP rights from Majesco, and remastered (or just ported, dunno) the game to the Xbox One and PS4 (I do not know if the Xbox One release is just the original version via B/C). The game is avaliable on Game Pass, and got a VR sequel, and a sequel on Xbox One, PS4 (B/C with PS5), and Xbox Series X.
