There is no hack that reduces damage. If there is, the server could easily block the hack and it would have no effect. That guy was probably really lucky.

At the very end, I was kinda surprised CaptainSparklez managed to win. I mean, necro0maNceR had an enchanted diamond sword, and so (assuming the sword had a Sharpness I enchantment) CaptainSparklez would lose. BUT, then I remembered that CaptainSparklez had two Mushroom Stews up his sleeve, and iron sword with Sharpness I himself, AND amazing armour.

Tbh there is no hack that reduces damage taken. If there is the server could've blocked it easily, like the regen hack.
Hacking is rampant on that server. I'd say one out of every six games or so, some hacker will kill everyone unless he gets kicked for flying. Most hackers just use reach cheats and stuff like that that won't get them kicked. They usually get away with it unless someone records them.

Mineplex recently implemented a "Miss" and "Glancing blow" system into combat. You'll get the hit indicator, but you might "miss" your strike, or do significantly less damage as your attack "glances off" their armor/body

So on Kokoshi Islands, I know some of the supply drop locations by coordinates. 846 is up on top of the temple stairs, 902 is up on the left side of the temple stairs, in the house. 1009 is the one of the locations of the 2 docks right by the waterfall, to the left side of the waterfall. There is another super chest location to get loot. (this is only by certain rounds). It is on the right side of the temple stairs inside the little house. Notice: This is a tip for you you to remember without using coordinates or the compass only on Kokoshi Islands.

To all people who are complaining about the guy in the end:
I hope you will end in a battle zone one day. I really do. I would love to see you charge into the field, while others are shooting at you constantly. Let's see how funny your 'charge and be stupid'-tactic is then.

What do u mean by ppl shooting at you. Nobody was shooting at him, he was shooting. He had and enchanted DIAMOND SWORD. If Sparklez didn't have mushrooms he would've lost. He could've pvp'd him and won. You can see that Sparklez had 1 and a half hearts at one point but used mushrooms to regen
TheGreenerish Sparklez also had far superior armor and you don't even know what kind of enchantment that diamond sword had, so that could very well be useless, such as bane of arthropods or smite.
He took the correct strategy for his class and the situation in hand. He kept a distance and used the terrain like a pro. That is far superior play compared to other players who just walks into their death like people waiting for a death sentence.
There are a lot of things that can't be known in such a battle and this guy took the safe route instead of battling like a 3 year old that has been handed a call of duty game and suddenly thinks he is invincible.
Also he is trying to survive in a PVP/survival game.
He is doing what he is meant to do and should not be hated on by idiots who thinks that charging mindlessly is the only way of acting in these games.
miniman649 although this IS a good strategy I agree with, I'm just saying that that specific guy could've charged in. When he actually did pvp at the end, they both had full hearts and he almost won. Sparklez would've died if he wasn't so far away in water. Again, I do agree with the strategy though.

He was actually better than sparkles... Sparkles just double mushroom stews at the end and had a sharp iron sword (which is better than diamond) and was geared out armour wise

Kyle Conley He got like the first 3 hits on sprakelz. He was strafing sparkelz.. Sparkelz doesnt strafe he just runs into people and hopes for the best.
It's not like sparklez had a choice to not eat the stew when he was hit 3 times in a row by a weapon that was far superior to his own

Miss the ones with Ryan, but I will say this was quite the battle at the end. Much more satisfying to see you work for it rather than just cleaning up.

I have some tips, when PvPing, make sure you swing your sword as fast as you can. 2, make sure you're sprinting, because it helps getting you criticals. 3, practice your aim on a moving object. 4, use fishing rods before you engage in a sword fight, it helps you get the first hit.

A chess battle to say the least but if necessary, no matter how annoying it was, Jordan could have kept trying and eventually his fishing rod would've broke leaving him with one less item to his strategy. Though being an archer, the goal is range so that was gg.
A fair point in general, but items are actually unbreakable on that server. He could have kept using the fishing pole all day long if he wanted.

the guy in 7:30 was probably a huzuni type hacker - u can tell mostly because of him taking reduced damage not getting knocked while fighting CS. Another relevant fact was that his sword swinging was roughly chaotic and seemingly automatic

On this map, there's a place where u can get an iron sword out of an item frame. It's like in a house by the water. And also in another house by he really giant church lookin thing. But they are there every time so it's really good.

CaptainSparklez actually stone swords give you a 85 % cheans to get sharpnes but wooden swords give you a 50 % unbreaking : )

Same exact thing has happened to me on that map. The death match was 15 minutes long because the guy just kept going up the waterfall and using the fishing rod to push me off. Irritates the hell out of me. Glad I won though
