Thank you very much Martin. I'm sorry about the sound quality, it's the only mic that would fit my camera. It's my birthday on the 31st, I'm going to get a better camera and a radio mic. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff, I have a Wottan Storm 300. The Spanish brand of this same bike. Great video and loads of help. What size hex key was it for the oil change if you don't mind me asking?
Hi, I would love to be able to help you, but unfortunately my shed burnt down about 8 weeks ago. I lost the Pegasus and a couple of of classic mopeds. The car was the other side of the fence, that was lost as well. If I still had the Pegasus, I would have checked the size for you. Take care, Jeff
@buelwils Hi, yes nearly there. I've my first live stream on Saturday., the shed opening party. Just had the electrician in today for new sockets and lights. Take care, Jeff
Thanks very much Brian. Sorry about the sound that was the only mic that would fit my camera. I'm going to get a better camera that would take a wireless mic. Take care, Jeff
Hello Jeff can you please tell me where you got the screen from? Struggling to find parts for the Pegasus and think I need a taller screen too, thank you. Plus the service pack to come that? Thanks
Hi Geoff, I'm trying to find where I got the screen from. I think it was Ebuy7. It came under a Tairong 300cc Pathfinder which was the equivalent to the Pegasus in Malaysia. I've been trying to find it, but no luck at the moment. If I can find it somewhere today I will let you know. Take care, Jeff
Hola. Tengo algunas preguntas. ¿Cuáles son las medidas y el peso de los rodillos? ¿Cuáles son las medidas/pastillas de freno traseras de referencia? ¿Cuál es la referencia/medida de la correa de transmisión? Muchas gracias
Hi Sevillano, thank you for watching. I am so sorry I wish I could help you, I have had the scooter for nearly three years and have only done just over 3000 miles. It has never let me down. As far as the measurements are concerned, that is one thing I would like to know myself. I have never taken the rollers out and have only just checked the belt. The belt is quite expensive, but I have been looking for an aftermarket belt just in case, but as I say it is running very smoothly. I which I could have been more help. Take care, Jeff
Hi jeff Sorry to hear about the bike and sorry for posting as you obviously no longer have it but i was just wondering if these bikes use fully synthetic or semi. Thanks in advance
Thank you Alan, it's terrible when you go from voice over. I have just invested in a new camera and a wireless mic. I hope it makes a difference. Take care Jeff
I am sorry about the sound quality. I have bought a new microphone which is the only one that fits my camera. I will be going temporarily back to voice overs and getting a camera which will take a better radio mic. It's my birthday at the end of the month, I'll see what the family will give. As always take care, Jeff
Hi Terry, the windscreen I think I got from Ebuy, from Malaysia I think, but I haven't seen it since. Unfortunately just had a major fire in the shed and the Pegasus, two classic mopeds and the car have been destroyed.
Hi Kenneth, yes I think it would be fine. I'm 5'10 and the only thing I'm not that comfortable with is when I put my feet up on the upper foot board. The saddle is quite high and I can only tip toe when the bike is level. At 6ft that would be perfect.
Hi Jonah, I can't remember exactly now. I think they came from Malaysia. I am just leaving for work now but I will see if I can find the company later. Take care, Jeff
Hello again Jonah, I have had a look but can't seem to find the footrests. You might be able to look a bit deeper in the Tairong Pathfinder T300, which is basically the same bike. There seems to be more accessories under that model. I hope that helps a bit.
I have a Lexmoto Pegasus motorcycle but I don't know the spare part references like oil filter (HF 132) but I don't have the references for other parts like air filter and cross and roller and other component please c you know the references give them to me
Hi Karim, I was only able to find the HF 132 filter by finding it on CMPO. I haven't found any after market parts like the air filter etc. The only place I can get them is in CMPO. I am sorry that I can't help a bit more Take care, Jeff
Hi Dean, The website is Ebuy7. If you google Tairong Pathfinder 300T, windshield it should automatically take you to Ebuy7. It very good quality and came very quickly. I initially went for the 55cm, but they told me that I would have to wait another week for them to come back into stock. They said that they will send me a 60cm if I wanted for the same price. I'm glad I did, it looks great I hope that this information helps. Take care, Jeff
@@deanlinegar9680 Thanks Dean, I have had no trouble at all, touch wood. I only know one person who had trouble, but everyone else seems to be very happy. I'm not really a mechanic just a hobbyist, learn things as I go. Sorry about the quality of the sound, it's the only mic compatible with my camera. I've just bought a much better camera and wireless mic, so in a couple of weeks should be better. Take care, Jeff
Not a problem, ive purchased the black/grey version, euro 5 i did notice from your videos that you are quite close to me, if you want to do a video on the colours they come in your more than welcome to use my bike, keep up the goos work 👍
Hi Norman, yes still have it and still a joy to ride. Touch wood no problems as yet. I did a quick check over last week and all bolts were tight. Just little screw had a bit of surface corrosion. I sanded that off and put some ACF50 on it That's the only little problem. Take care, Jeff
Hi Brickie, the valves are adjustable tappets. I did do them after a few hundred miles, only because I was bored. I was going to do a video on them last week, but has a virus of some sort and lost interest in everything. The exhaust valves are 0.11 mm and inlet are 00.8 to 0.11. I hope that helps a bit. Take care, Jeff
I'm not bad now thanks, but it went on for about a week and a half. Mine is on about 2300 miles. It rides fine and not loud, but would like to check them anyway. It was a bit tight getting to them especially the bottom ones. I think the panel must come off under the front of the seat, but I would probably break it as there is no manual.
Hi, up until it was nearly 3 years old which June last year I had no problems with it at all. I was very happy with it. Unfortunately I had a shed fire which destroyed the Pegasus and two classic mopeds. The car which was the other side of the shed was also lost . Take care,Jeff
Hi Derek, touch wood it's still going fine. I should do another update, but have only covered a couple of thousand miles since. Still do regular checks on it and found no problems Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff really appreciate your video big help mate looking to possibly get the lexmoto Euro 5 Pegasus as a courier bike how are you honestly finding reliability of Lexmoto Pegasus everyone keeps saying get a Honda Forza but like £5500
Hi Matthew and thank you for your comments. A few years ago I would have probably have said get the Honda. It was a gamble for me as I had a 9 year old Suzuki Burgman 400, but I was never really happy with it. The frame had a lot of surface rust, it used to vibrate when pulling away. I changed the variator, clutch, belt but it still did it. I eventually traded that in and sold a classic moped that I restored and bought the Pegasus. I can only speak from experience, but I have had no problems at all. The only thing I will say is keep an eye on the bolts as they can work loose. Not important bolts, just exhaust trim etc. Over the year I have gone slowly round and put thread lock on them, it's now been fine. All the people I know that have one have been very happy with it, apart from one, who had nothing but trouble with it. To be honest when I saw photos of it, it was very dirty, so he may of missed something That's about as honest as I can say. If I was asked to swap for a decent 2nd hand Burgman, I would without doubt keep the Pegasus. Take care, Jeff ,
