Yeah feels like the intro cutscene for a mission. The opening intro to episode 3 also really feels like the kind of intros they have at the start of all the GTA stories.
It would have been more in tune with the show if the big guy had said something like "Point your damn gun all day long, you're still gonna wait your damn turn!"
Everything we needed to know about ryes character. Investing everything into type writers at the dawn of the computer revolution 🤣
isnt that the same typewriter thats on Mike's desk when he gets the promotion? lol
to be fair, the type writer was still better than most of the earliest computers
It's hilarious how totally unintimidating Rye is, even when holding the gun he looks like he's playing with a toy
"Guys like that, they're just ... big on the outside."
Yet another gem from the writers of these episodes.
Love how, after everything he goes through, Mike Milligan sits down in front of this type writer! The future 😊
wow really?
nice!
Rye reminds me of Ziggy from The Wire
Leather jacket and all.
Rye's theme is so badass. Shame he didn't last long.
It’s actually mr wrenches’ theme but but a lot louder and with more instruments.
"Romulus, put that damn gun away ..... you are going to hurt yourself
"
lol
The Judge with the bug spray in her purse. That Judge Rye.
Rye reminds me of Ziggy off the Wire Season 2, youngun in over his head
ya i feel like this was almost a homage to that character. Or at least Kulkin took inspiration from that turn or something
@@mikegribanov6105 Wouldnt put it past him
Wrench and Numbers theme at the beginning.
It's a rendition
"Behold the future...the IBM Selectric Two..." Meanwhile, in a garage in Cupertino....
I'm 55 and actually HAD to take a typing class on one of those beasts in High School.
I love Fargo so much I wish I could eat it. It’s literally perfect in every way
Umm ok 😂😂
I see a lot of Roman from Succession in this role
@J H me too , why would that be🧐
J H Younger weasely bro.
agreed
He's a good actor, but he doesn't exactly disappear into roles.
@@nkt1I agree, he’s incredible in Succession though
Skip may be the best side character in the whole show.
Rye must have been the Most Likable Boy in high school. He's so charming.
Jimmy Guitar he liked pepsi, that’s for sure
rye did not seem cut out for that shit at all! sounds like a kid
A selectric 2 was very valuable into the 90's
Best typewriter ever made
"His family hurts people for money"
Great North Dakota accent, Roman.
oddly reminds me of GTA
Yeah feels like the intro cutscene for a mission. The opening intro to episode 3 also really feels like the kind of intros they have at the start of all the GTA stories.
Yah. There's a lot of spigots in that GTA, donchno?
I think GTA veered too far into satire and needs to go back to being an exploration of American crime
It looks like a Selectric III
I can handle things Im smart, not like everybody says like dumb lm smart and I want repect....
Damn I was just saying to myself “Kieran Culkin would be so great in Fargo”
"...Any hose" LOL
Why this typewriter dude remind me of Matthew Perry so much?
"oh *that* Judge, yeah I'm afraid she's a goner you see; I accidentally you see"
It would have been more in tune with the show if the big guy had said something like "Point your damn gun all day long, you're still gonna wait your damn turn!"
