I'm a big fan of cards with effects that have lore reasons for existing, and so I love Quintet Magician. The inability to be tributed feels like he's so powerful and so densely packed with magical energy that he is beyond your power as a duelist to tribute him. His magic is stronger than that of you or your opponent, and so neither of you can unmake him or reshape him in any way. The only hope is to banish him to another realm (or use some BS card that doesn't destroy but just "moves them to the graveyard" as if that sort of wording ever made any sense. The only card that should be able to put a monster in the graveyard without destroying it should be like Time Wizard b/c it doesn't destroy the monster, it ages it to death which is a really cool in-universe workaround for an indestructible creature, but that would make too much sense and so Konami would never do it that way.)
I never heard of Nekroz engine to summon Quintet, but I have ALWAYS use lightsworn engine and it feels like 40% consistent OTK, because hard to draw fusion spell
Oh Quintet, My personal favor This reminds me of my occasional Lightsworn deck I named Hiroshima/Nagasaki (Judgement Dragon being the 1st Bomb and Quintet to end the war)
Quintet Magician back then combos well with Zarc. With Future Fusion, you send the 4 magicians (+ 1 Spellcaster) to the GY and then all it matters is that you get Astrograph/Chronograph Magician out to summon Zarc using those magicians u send from the future fusion effect, getting a board wipe with Zarc's effect. And then on the next turn, you get to board wipe again with Quintet coming out on the field, making your field super strong with 4000 and 4500 ATK fusion monsters.
Quintet Magician just has some really banger art. I don't know what it is but he has such a great design. I think it's the "Dark Magician with a touch more drip" theory. Dark Magician is just like, one good step away from being REALLY cool, and any time they design a monster that's "Dark Magician but--", I always like it a LOT. This also applies to Dark Magician Girl, btw. DMG herself? Kinda basic. Apprentice Illusion Magician and Magician's Valkyria? BASED AS HELL

The worse part of Quintet Magician is his design IMO, it looks like a knockoff worse Dark Magician for no reason. I always wished they made him look more like Theematech Clatis or something bit more unique. Also if you haven't done them before... I would like to see you cover Fortune Fairy decks in Duel Links, bad decks are always funny. :3

Man eternal bond is terrible. Skills should be like the lsworn union. You activate once and only have one effect and be done with that. About board wipe yesterday I used dark hole against a blue eyes deck who had the field full of them and then they summoned the one that's burn you for it and lost instantly. Actually fun stuff 😂

Would love to see a video on the lava golem+swords woman+massive morph combo. Was whole reason life burn damage effects got cut in half for duel links back in the day.
My favorite version of this deck is Future Fusion and margicalized fusion x Exodia X Exodia Incarnate. Three way win condition. Either Quintent, get Exodia, or get a huge beat stick on field that isn’t effected by other card effects. (Incarnate)
Today i faced it today, my opponent had game and then they summoned the Quintlet Magician but they didn't have 5 spellcasters with different names so they didn't get the boar wipe and i got to live 1 more turn and they lost on my turn because magician doesnt have targeting protection

I just had a deck idea to turbo out Doriado (the negating one) for a boss monster, and my method was to future fusion the charmer monsters to get quintet out. (This deck is not good)
lol they never are but I think thats pretty spicy either way. Ive always wanted to make a doriado deck but havent found a good way to get 6 guys in the grave like that

For example; I started with a havy tuner blue eyes deck, then I got Kiba and ditched the tuners and now I added 3 galaxy eyes to my extra deck. Where do I go know? You can also talk about busted synergies, how to use the tuners (like the sage, priest and pristes omg) how the best deck is played and how to deal with bad muchups..... or how to not brick (sometimes I get 3 blue eyes alt dragon in my first hand)

Nah we just need a card that has 2 effect one of them is it always in your opening hand no matter what (also can't be negated) and when you activate this card can add a card outside of your deck to your hand even if that card isn't in duel links yet even if that card isn't in ocg yet even if that card isn't creat in ocg or tcg yet and you just made it up also the card you add to your hand with this effect cannot be destroyed negated banish. It solve any problem any cards or archetype have.

I had this Fortune Fairy deck dedicated to turboing him out. Worked a lot more than it should have, especially with Cup of Ace reliance.

I negated someone's quintet a few weeks ago with effect veiler the removed it from play with DD warrior. Felt bad.
