My dialogue when my DPS on Moira is high usually consists of me weeping because my damage heroes aren't doing more damage than me and my other support still somehow has less healing done than me
In all fairness, the main reason I would ever switch off mercy to go moira us because I hope the extra damage could help us win and I like her survivability more than the other supports that do damage because I don't expect my team to peel for me if I'm attacked.
Honestly. They are support. Not your glorified medkit. Lmao this dude is actually going BONKERS with his support and with his healing. He gets behind enemy lines, distracts, heals, chip damages while his team lowers more before being able to not only heal everyone he could but finish the kill. You obviously just think a support should be in your pocket just to heal you at every need. No. You gotta pay attention to your support and what and why they do certain things. DPS needs to learn to stay with the support who is quite literally the backbone of a good team. Example above. Only one comming and probably only one that needs to in this case because he's that good with his support, but yeah. People gotta stop seeing support characters as their own medkits. You'd win a lot more if you have a good support

DPS can flank, but once a support leaves the team fight, 90% you’re going to lose. Luckily the other super seemed competent, but supports like this player is a reason why they lost fights and games. If u want to do dmg, do dps or tank, stop focusing on dmg as support, that’s not your job!!! You don’t see soldier running around trying to heal people, so stop it

I don't think people realize how hard it is to actually efficiently play dps Moira. Or why dps Moiras and battle mercys even exist. You leave support behind or trapped then complain they are fighting for their lives to get out. You could have 10k damage while dps has 5k, still have 20k heals and it will STILL be blamed on support. Backlines wouldn't have to do damage if the front would protect them.

Wait, was it you in my push game yesterday where our Baptiste did 987 healing and about 4K damage, while our Kiriko pulled of the most amazing heroics to keep us all alive and ended up with 15K healing and still somehow managed to sneak in 3K damage. We were losing 90 odd to 40ish on Esperanca basically the entire game until we managed an absolute miracle push in OT when Baptiste finally listened to the team and upped his healing to just under 2K. Good Baptiste players use the heal shoot heal shoot heal shoot rhythm for a reason. If you aren’t healing as well as doing damage as Baptiste you are throwing.
Had 14k damage, 11k heals. 49 elims. 1 death. 38 assists. Team told me I was a shit dps Moira. I don't think people understand Moira is supposed to do damage and kill low hp enemies or chase down low enemies. It's like they expect you to spam healing orb and have heals always without doing damage to replenish it. Even had one guy yell at me for using my ult to kill 4 people when he was low hp spamming need healing. Sorry but why would I turn around and waste my ult to heal you when I can take out 4 people and then heal you, people just wanna blame heals for whatever reason. Lol
As someone who mained on DPS Moria this isn't really accurate. I tried to stay with my team and only went behind the enemy team when there was two or three left and they were low enough. I've been able to carry matches playing dps with Moria and got pretty good at it. Played my first ranked match like that and got shit on for not hyperfocusing on my teammates health bars and the second round the other support purposely took Moria so I wouldn't be able to use her. Surprise surprise they sucked with her and we lost basically out of the gate but it was all my fault because "DpS mOrIa BaD"
Well that's how people should play some Supports in ow now. Even if you're Mercy...you are no healbot. Support players need a balance between aggressive play and passive play. He didn't play the dps moira he just got into the enemy Team and flanked them to confuse and pull them apart AND taking their priorities.
Hey tip from a Moira main. Her healing orbs do more healing than her damage orbs do damage, so in a fight the best thing to do is cast her healing orb towards your team or the direction you want to go, walk with the healing orb and use her primary to attack your target. Use this you can out heal a lot of the enemies' attacks. For example this strat out heals a dva using both her primary and her rockets at the same time
Even in overwatch one I was consistently getting highest heals and elims, hate on the developers for her kit. Honestly her orb in beta would have been a better utility support tool for her rework in 2, but instead of balancing it, they decided it was too OP.
Bro I have a friend who mains Moira and does this too and we all love it, her five capabilities are amazing, complete invincibility, enhanced movement oof poor back lines
Let's talk about the times when you have to literally take over because your team is absolute trash..I literally have to attack I can't just heal Moira will run out if healing if you don't attack..But nothing worse then trying to heal your team and they lose every battle..And I am like I can literally kill everyone here..So I do 10 k heals 30 elims and a whole alotta respect at the end
