Pressure washing a very dirty block paved driveway

- This driveway and wall has not been cleaned since the day dot. The house was going on the market and we where called to give it a much needed pressure clean and refresh on the drive and wall. Im sure a clean driveway will aid in the selling of the property.
Some people have been wondering why i havent posted much lately the reason is i only work 10 months a year, so as we are coming into spring the diary has filled up so its full steam ahead with more videos to come.

Hello there Dee , coor dear im not sure if i have a favorite, i meet some intresting customers and have been shown nice things like classic cars , expensive sports cars and have also been in a recording studio for a tour, a cup of tea is always a good start to a job

Great job! No pressure washing going on here in Canada. Five to seven inches of snow last night. That's on top of the 10 inches we got three days ago!
Thankfully, we're seniors. So here in my town, if you're a senior, (over 65), you can phone City Hall. You just give your name and address in October and the city will plow away the high pile of snow at the entrance of your driveway (made by the BIG street plow that goes around after a snowstorm). The city does it with a smaller, more maneuverable snow plow within 24 hours.

cheers Fread yeah new van same spec as the old one, highline edition , got a few extras updated cab and front and led lights oh and its bigger gone for the lwb version. Ordered it a year ago and got in around christmas time

Your work really adds sparkle to the house as it goes on the market. Assume you wore the old van out. The new one looks good. Did you make any changes to the setup inside? I recall your tour of the van some time back and it seemed very functional back then.

Yeah gotta new motor , traded the red one in as it was 3 years old, low mileage though only had 16k

What causes such accumulated grim to form, city pollution or heavy rains you get in the UK? Pretty yucky looking, but WOW what a clean up....looks fabulous 👌
Hello Dana its just the damp weather that is the issue, and years of not getting it cleaned, plenty of work in the UK if your a pressure washing company

Not really everything is pretty much the same as before added a new hose reel though

Love the befores and afters. My question is do you begin at the farthest end and work your way out? In this video you started at the end of the driveway. Just curious.
I suppose it's because the drive is facing downwards towards the house, maybe I'm wrong lol

hello mark cleaning took about a hour or so then the resanding was around the same as had to do under the carport too

Cheers, check out www.rutlandpumps.com for good pressure washing gear, avoid any chinese pressure washers from the likes of ebay and machine mart they will break down and are a waste of money, Start as soon as you can as pressure washing season is underway now, its seasonal and is all over by september, unless youre doing big commercial jobs, Good luck, the hardest part is keeping the work flowing in

Just use a couple of generic signs, each side of your hoses. Your covered. High pressure cleaning. Be aware. If someone trips on your hose, stiff shit. Shit happens.

@@Bournemouthjetwashing Just a wee tip. Keep your hose straight if its going to be across a footpath. If its on an angle, its guaranteed by Murphy's law, that a small kid on a bike, WILL come a cropper when the front wheel turns away from them. Then the parent will blast lasers of hate at you, as if you did it on purpose. Trust me on that one!! Im still suffering radiation burns after 15 years.

what the white stuff your spraying on the drive after you have used the rotating head cleaner and what do you do and use if there were weeds there when you turn up
if very weedy , put a herbicide down to kill then return a week later, hypo for black spot remove

Hi ya I use two my main is a go pro 10 and I also use a dji osmo action 2 . I connect the gopro to a battery bank so it dont go flat

hi the hypo neutralizes after twenty mins , normally use 4 to 1 mix

Hey Ricky great job! I would also like to work with a hot water pressure washer. with 900 liters per hour and 210 bar. Is that not enough power for such a surface cleaner as you have? And which chemical mix do you always use in the second step of your cleaning? hyporchlorites? love your work man! Greetings from Germany❤️
That is correct we use hypo , a pressure washer 15 litres a min is fine but for bigger stuff go for a 21 or 30 ltrs pump
