I swear there was a similar case just about 2-3 yrs ago. In that case as well the relatives took the kid from her villager parents saying they'll send her to school and later when the parents met the kid, the kid was in a very critical condition and it was found that the relatives had sexually assaulted the kid as well. Truly despicable. I have lots of friends who have been molested by their own relatives when they were young and almost all of them didn't even know what was happening with them at the time. People of Arunachal really need to stop trusting their relatives blindly around their kids. We don't know what evil lurks behind. And all the kids should be taught about good touch and bad touch as well.
Same in nagaland, not talked about much, people turn a blind eye because afterall its not their own kid but as an adult now i know who were those kids.
When this child was brought to us, she was having difficulties in breathing.This child had multiple rib fractures in both side of chest, few old healed fractures as well as new. Her inflating lungs could be easily felt through her crumbled ribs. Her clavicle(beauty bone) too broken. old badly healed fracture in her hand. also right thigh bone broken for which surgery was done recently. Her jaw was broken and left side was overlapping with the right. its was not a recent fracture. she must be bearing the broken jaw for 3-5 days at least and the lady and the man were explaining "kal raat girke laga hai". Her around the eyes were blackening, must have had a head injury. her lungs probably pierced with broken rib fragments. child was not uttering single word, must be terrified by thought of more torture. this torture was not a matter of few hours or days but months. Such an inhuman act can only be done by those possessed by the devil himself.
Honestly neither could I finish hearing the news reader nor could i finish reading ur comments..my heart is heavy and my eyes are teary...unable to digest the cruelty,the kind of horror existing in our society which I have always thought to be peaceful and loving. No less than satan!

First question - why was the baby referred to Neighrims. Medical college like Trihms should be able to handle such critical case; any other medical center can handle routine cases. Sad for the poor girl. Fast track the case. Apprehend and punish the culprits.
Believe me , I worked in NEIGRIHMS, every now and then even a small minor cases are being referred to NEIGRIHMS saying that it's a life threatening case but when they are being treated there it's just 1-3 days ka treatment. Idk trihms hospital toh itna bada bana diya but i feel like doctors are still so incompetent to handle cases such as this. Incase of this case too ,the child should be questioned and medico legal could have been lodged in the state itself

But not for a government medical college which are considered as tertiary referral centers.its a sad state of affairs. Government should increase skilled manpower/ equipment in Trihms if that's the case.

From highway to Hospital, everything sucks in our state. Now I am not saying that the condition of the deceased was a very easy case with 90% success rate if treated by our doctors. I am frustrated over the fact that we don’t have any dedicated team of confident and experienced doctors to even try to handle anything severe. Time is money , money is wealth and health is the ultimate wealth. Therefore time is a Major factor for maintaining good health. Lot of time is just wasted when a patient travels around to just get treated. Also I heard a lot about mannerless behaviour of these so called nurses and doctors of Trihms. I am not saying they should be full on emotional all the time, but i don’t feel like there is any need of acting too strict and bossy.
We all know this is very common in arunachal. And lots of us have seen this happen in our own family . Privilege relatives will take the the children of under Privilege family members from their village to town. Promise them education but in reality those kids are brought only for domestic works and treated like salves on top of that physical torture and mental torture .
