I bought clear plastic tubing of the right size at the hardware store for $3, it was in a section with lots of different sizes of tubing. Some sections have printed letters on them but there are long areas that are perfectly clear. The hardest part is evenly cutting the tube.
Great idea and price! Yes the cutting is the hardest part. The Handheld Multi Angle Mitre Shear Cutter worked well for the plastic drinking straws. Not sure how well it would work for other plastic tubes.
I have just seen these and I am completely enchanted. So much so that I am now trawling through your other posts and ideas. Those birdcages 😯😲🫨! My bloke has an old doll house falling apart in his conservatory (not quite an antique but close) and I've thought a few times that it should be restored. I might see if I can tempt him to make it a joint project... Out of interest, have you ever tried using "builder paste", the stuff nail artists use to build fancy, elaborate stuff (the semi solid version). You can mould it into shape using your fingers (or tools) then cure it with a UV light. I'm just thinking that you might be able to use it to add "glass" handles to some of these jugs and things. (Just an idea)
Thank you💕💕Restoring that doll house would be amazing! espacially if you could do it together. It's so much fun to plan how to decorate it etc. I have found a lot of used dolls house furniture etc. really cheap on Ebay. Some are sold as a job lot / bundle and there are some real treasures. You can fix and modify them to your own style. That nail art builder paste sounds great!! never thought of using it. That would make some of the 'glass' objects more realistic. Great idea!! Thank you😃
Definitely one of the simplest and easiest tutorials for mini glasses! Thanks!

Genius ❤❤❤
Thank you very much! 😊💕
Truly brilliant!!! You could get a thick boba/milkshake straw to work in a different scale. Like 1:6 for fashion dolls like Barbie.
Thank you very much! What a Great idea!! I have to try them!! 😊💕

Can you tellme what the metal tool you are using is call?
I searched for Multi Angle Miter Shear Cutter Hand Tool. There are many similar tools available online 😊
Don't burn yourself...use a tweezers for the small glasses.
Great tip! Thank you😊
