@@pewdiepiesbrother6200 That was awesome talking to you on the phone! I live in the boondocks and sometimes our phones don't work very well so I had a hard time talking to you but that was cool that you also got to meet Millenniumforce up there. I am going to Fostoria tomorrow and I am planning on getting to Deshler in the early evening
That last GM train had most every type of rolling stock represented. Boxcar, reefer, autorack, covered hopper, flat car, center beam, tankers, steel coil, gondola...great!!!!
I like how there's towns in the USA that really enjoy, admire and like trains with banners train information and caboose structures or maybe a box car structure you can go inside of and also cp what's happening with your I guess fouled horn lol
One of my favorite locations, I love watching trains from here. First time I have ever seen one of those cross track things. I was in shock and aww when I saw it never knew anything like that existed.
East of here there is another train park and it has double intersections. Deshler was the first time I had seen that too. I was riding a bike cross country solo and 6 miles north had hurt my back. Spent a couple days there resting my back. Great people there too. I then spent a night at the other train park. Made the trip to NYC and caught a plane back home. Denver, it took 13 weeks and 2 days from Denver to NYC. Had a blast.
I rode a bicycle with a trailer from Denver to NYC last summer and i stayed at the train park a couple days. Met some really cool people I would like to see again. Hope to retrace my trip in the truck in a year or two. Way cool to find your video. Didn't know they had a live feed there too. Thanks for the memories.
@@JawTooth I'll take a look! So different there from Holland! Only electric trains here. Those American trains are big machines. And wagons in two levels..Greetings from the Netherlands
This is a cool video. I always check out the live cam... I'm going to have to make it out there one day looks like a awesome place... I think these Intermodal trains end up in Port Newark New Jersey along the New Jersey Turnpike. Waving Hello from New Jersey
You should get the history of that building you shot at 17 seconds into the video. It is an amazing history. Once the largest hardware store in the country, with six carloads of freight being delivered daily and covered loading areas for horse-drawn wagons.
Jaw Tooth you should come back and visit sometime. You should also let me know when your gonna visit so I can tell you a little more about the town Some of the buildings and more
You get used to it. I lived there from 2004-2008 and continually visit there since my dad still lives there. They just replaced it with a quieter diamond. So now it’s not that loud but you could be on the outskirts of the town and still hear trains go over it
That was a great location you decided to train watch at. You had barbecue apparatus there and a whole host of trains on the go. What more could you ask for :)
I wish Deshler Diamond had a revitalization, or at least a restoration of the railroad buildings that once played a part to the ole’ Baltimore and Ohio Railroad intersection. It’s such an amazing piece of American history, it makes me a bit sad to see so many broken down and abandoned buildings. I plan on visiting here when I get a chance next summer.
Having watched the live video feed from VRF for the last month I feel like I have been there. Looks like my next trip back east will require a stop at Deshler.
I can't believe they replaced this diamond with an owls diamond, but yeah Deshler is an awesome place! I go to Fostoria and Deshler in a single day every summer and spend 2 hours at each place with my father.
After watching the live railcam for months , I made a visit but lucked-out due to poor weather and a lack of trains. Same happened to me in Fostoria...........very disappointed!
that horn on the Canadian pacific sounds odd, Deshler is my main place to go but now I'm starting to go to lima a bit more, I've been going to the trainyard that's on 412 Robb avenue i believe, I'm wanting to go to the diamond that is around Jackson Street also, but i don't know how active that line is and don't know what days to go there to catch lots of trains in action.
Halloooo Brian, that was a nice crosing, short trains today.greetings from Tony, she is back home from the hospital, she is oké.and i have a cold.greetings from us on yor family.
Deshler looks like a fantastic place to film trains. Where is it in relation to Cincinnati? I see this video was from 6 years ago. I'm surprised you haven't been back lately. I really enjoyed this fabulous video, JT! Thank you very much!! 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
The sooner you get up there the better because they are getting ready to replace all the old B&O signals that I have in this video. I read about it in Trains Magazine.
Jaw Tooth this was really nice!! A great park and great beautiful catches and that was a nice video you made of the stom!! I hope all is well there in Florida!!
I believe that's a phenomenon described as sound cancellation, when sound waves eliminate each other, and from certain positions, that's what you'd hear.
Jaw tooth, what is that about 6ft from the diamond, it`s off white sets off the ground about 16 inches has two cables connected to it? do you know? where is Deshler what part of Ohio? just another awesome video by Jaw tooth, LIVE-ACTION!
He is actually a good friend of mine. We have been railfanning for a few years. He helped get me started on RUclips. I talked to him last night and he is putting up a video tomorrow showing the damage in his area of Florida. We were planning on going to NY and NJ at the end of the month and it looks like we are still going.
Jaw Tooth, I notice a house with a car port, is that a regular house and does anyone live there, just wondering cause I never see those trucks in the driveway move
I used to live in Deshler. I still visit my dad there. Most of the buildings that don’t have major damage are still very much in use. The factory looking building seen in the first 30 seconds of the video has been removed and the depot (across the double tracks) is going to be torn down soon despite protest from the entire town
B747guy because CP goes to Chicago then they turn onto different railroads at diamonds like Norfolk Southern, BNSF, CSX, Union Pacific, and maybe a Shortline because I caught CP on a Shortline before
You want trains come to Fostoria Ohio . We have lots of trains every day 5-6 tracks worth . Some days busier than other especiallya at night 😋 we even have a train park to watch themthis line might be the one that goes thru N Baltimore oh which is a hub and loading them
How & why do some inter-modal carriages have only one set of 4-wheels carrying the tail-end of one carriage and the front of the following carriage (one set is rolling between the two carriages). Other carriages have two sets of wheels (4+4) so that one set is under the tail end of a carriage, and the second set (4) is under the front of the following carriage. How and why does this work?
Because some railroad cars have several sections per car. Some railroad cars appear to be 3 or 5 separate cars when in reality they are only one railroad car. These cars are common in America. They will have a set of wheels at each end and between each unit of the car. Therefore some railroad cars can carry up to 10 containers per car! The customer gets a better price that way. I hope that explains it.
Awesome Video! Jaw Tooth I go to Deshler a lot hopefully we can meet up there some day
That would be awesome! Tell PewDiePie I said " Wa Sup Bro"! Lol
LOL I’m not actually PewDiePie’s Brother but when are you going back up to Deshler and will Milleniumforce go to Deshler someday too

It was good to see the depot still stands. It was pranked early in the 21st century. Yellow brick bldg was a signal tower.
