    Hi, i had the best result of color marking on Steel and stainless Steel with my JPT Mopa M7 100W if i use the following parameters:
    Frequency 800kHz, Speed 2.000mm/s, Power 10 to 25%, Q-Puls 15ns, Hatch 0.0005 to 0.01mm. I use a 210mm Focus Lens. Color Marking into Focus.

    Hi Roger, we have a 30W Fiber here, it ranges between 30-60KHz - When you hatch, are you choosing the different pens then, should you setup the pen settings first and then hatch seclecting the pen? What are the hatch settings, and does it make much difference for this? Many thanks

    Thank you for this info i have a standard 20watt split fiber laser marking marking machine and through some parameter changes inside the laser control I've been able to better pinpoint color affect on steel material. The question i have is there anyway i could get the ezcad file of your grid system?

    Is 30 or 50 watter laser fiber enough?
